  • I think is possible to make money if the books cost more than £5.00, I've tried with penny books and NO PROFIT! Amazon takes a big chunk out of postage and lives you with so little. In fact postage cost have risen and Amazon rates are still the same. There's no way you are going to post hardback books for less than £2.48.

  • You can definitely make extra cash selling books online but quitting a good day job to do it full time is silly. Too much competition and everyone, including thrift stores and libraries are catching on and only putting out penny books. It reminds me of baseball card collecting. In the mid to late 80's everyone was catching on to the fact that certain cards were valuable. Now cards are $5 for a pack of 3.

  • Buying stuff for cheap and making a profit off of it helps. Always sell stuff that is in demand.

  • Very good video!

I also discuss similar topic on my Youtube Channel. Maybe you can check it out sometime. thanks.

  • where do you buy your books for cheap prices?

  • I have been selling books on Amazon for about 2 months and have had decent success but how do you acquire 6000 books! The pickings seem slim at thrift shops and the garage sale season only last 5 months where I live.

  • @laststop3h A quick list that might be helpful in finding books: yard sales, library sale shelves, estate auctions, auction houses, friends of library sales, thrift stores. In thrift stores find out if they have a day that books are discounted. Sometimes they discount more than 50% off their regular price. Set a routine to check in thrift stores. It's worth the gas and time lost. AUCTION ZIP to find auctions. Good luck

  • this is worthless. Ive been selling on amazon for years and i PROMISE you this crap is going to get you nowhere. Ha, fail

  • ...All depends on what you call worthless? This business gives me a part-time income of £15,000 per annum, which to some people may be worthless, but it's certainly worth a lot to me.

    Richard.
