  • it doesnt look like a very good dirt machine lol. my car was used for this, then i brought it and put a 2jzgte and manual in it.

  • @MrShakotan

Yeah, not the best, but it just needed a few adjustments. A new head gasket, and some good agressive tires, and the thing would have done real well :)

  • @tommartyn i always found lighter (sub 1000kg) cars with manual where the best, ive had a datsun 120y wagon and a toyota corolla te72 hatch which was better as it had the bigger motor. however the 120y, we could not kill the engine, it got help WOT constantly and it was valve bouncing the whole time. It really can be good cheap fun.

  • @MrShakotan

I hear ya man. Lighter is better for sure off road. thats why Toyota 4x4 pickups can out romp any american truck stock. They're just so easy to move over everything.

We had an 83 tercel, and that thing was un killable off road.

  • id would have bought it from u for like 500. then fix to drift part time and family the other

  • sweet video, fun car, i love the cressidas, one of toyotas more fun cars to drive, looks like you had a blast out there!

  • what a C==3. those things can be some fun nice cars to have, not to trash.

  • @gailcarver

    Cunt?

Yeah, they CAN be nice fun cars to have, and so was this one. Just this one wasn't road worthy in anyway.

  • This is the last rear-wheel drive Toyota sedan sold in the US. It's know for its renowned durability and quality that companies like GM could only dream of. I hope you know if you fix it up, there are prospective buyers.

  • @TurboFuss1

I know what you mean, they are pretty incredible cars. But this thing needed alot of work, and alot of parts that would be hard to find. Plus it had some serious rot though important sub frame areas. That and we just didn't have the time to work on it, and then the township cracked down on me and made me get rid of all cars except 2... :(

  • Thats a rare year idiot.

  • @Undeify

So you're saying it would have been better going straight to a junk yard, instead of coming to the field for some fun for a few months?

That seems like a pretty stupid way to look at it. I'm guessing you're the idiot.

  • @tommartyn Where did you get all these cars from? They don't entirely seem junkyard quality, they run.

  • アホか

  • @supercustomextra

    Google翻訳はそれほどうまく、あなたの質問は何ですか?

  • Poor Cressida.

  • That looks so fuckin fun. I need land in the middle of nowhere and a cressida!

  • @playdoepotato

haha, damn right man :) Hope that can happen for you!

  • Toyotas are the best fun ever. Even when they are fucked they still keep going.

  • @17FEL

hahah :) damn right man! :)

  • You really do have to floor it in a cressida to get anywhere in loose dirt or mud. They are very heavy and they sink.

  • @DavidTheCatMedia, Yesssss......it's called.....F.U.N.

  • blown head gaskit for sure :3

  • @ut2k4wikichici

And then some. We were working on doing the head gasket, but in the middle of it the township cracked down on me and made me get rid of all my cars.

  • @tommartyn Fuck a township.

  • Why the hell would you do this to a car like this? Could have easily been fixed by someone looking for one. Hope you know you just pissed away a grand in a field. Enjoy.

  • I'm sick and tired of hearing this kind of stupid fucking shit from people. Seriously, where the fuck do you guys get the notion that you have any clue what the hell is going on, when you see a 3 min video of a car?

It was 200 dollars, Rusted out underneath, wrecked inside, had apparently been in a few accidents, and the head gasket was blown!!!!

I love toyotas like crazy, and this thing too, but it was a piece of shit.

Most importantly, THIS DIDN'T EVEN HURT THE FUCKING CAR!!!!!

    THINK.

  • if this is a job or something ill do it for free!!

  • @bkmTEC

:) hahah, yeah man, i'm with you! Any time we have an awesome car like that out in the field, I think about how awesome that would be. To get paid just to beat the shit out of cars and have a good time.

  • урода ебучие такую ласточку губят

  • @maxidron88 krasivo skazono... :(

  • that engine sounds really good! (im being serious)

  • @Dillon1108

Yeah, it did sound pretty awesome. The head gasket was blown though.

  • Awww poor cressy

  • Wow you guys have had just about every car known to man, haven't you?

  • @ActiveWorldsLunitic

sometimes it feels like it :) But theres alot we haven't. sometimes we make lists of ones we've haven't had, and should try to get sometime.

  • I hate Toyota!

  • @b67717

Huh, well from what i've seen from all of the toyotas we've owned, i'd say you should probably re think that. They're definitely one of the top companies, or at least used to be.

  • @tommartyn yeah. used to be is more like it. JD powers rated ford #2 last year right behind porsche in 1st

  • One bad ass car. I really wish we could see the interior though. Just needs a little work.

  • I have a Cressida, and did you ever notice the button on the gear shift?

The little button that you can press that I assume means 'power' or 'overdrive' mode, but I don't know what it does.

    Do you know?

  • @pwnrzero

I think i was checking that button out the one day. It might have been an economy button. So you can have full power, or a lower power mode that uses less gas.

Or it might have been to turn overdrive off, but i'm leaning more toward the economy mode thing. Do you have the owners manual in the glove box?

  • @tommartyn

I don't have the manual, but I have narrowed it down to 3 options:

    1) an overdrive

    2) a 'power' button, used for hills

    3) a 'sports' button, much like in the new Lexus Ls600, used for greater sports performance.

I am going to test it by going to an empty road and testing the performance both with the button on and off climbing 0-60mph.

  • @pwnrzero

cool, I'm interested in the results :)

I've seen a few corolla's and such that had "econ" buttons, for a lower power mode to save gas.

  • @tommartyn

The results are that it is a power mode used for going uphills. It substantially decreases acceleration, but increases traction at lower speeds on bumpy roads.

I do not recommend going over 30mph on this mode. Might be unsafe. =D

  • @pwnrzero

That is awesome :) thanks for letting me know! :) always interested in learning new things about cars that i like :)

  • This vid is hilarious with that hood flappin up and down, I LMAO!

  • @lmorrow4

haha :) yeah, we had the same thing happen with the 93 black infiniti Q45. That one stayed up pretty good though. It might have been easier to see under too.

  • Are these anygood?

  • @MSNIMSM

whats that? The cressida's? They're pretty much a heavy camry looking supra. Made out of most of the same stuff

  • @tommartyn Oh. My friend has an 89 that cronicly breaks down. She got it for a grand and put like 2000 worth of repairs into it.

    I like that its RWD.

  • @MSNIMSM

ah, sorry to hear that : ( yeah, parts might be expensive for them. they're kinda rare, and unique. Did the head gasket blow on her? They're prone to doing that. Thats whats wrong with this one.

It is awesome that is RWD :) and its comfy too. and cool that its an inline 6. not a V6 or something.

  • @tommartyn IDK what went on it. Not sure if she still has it either. I think the tranny was problem prone, Not sure.

    RWD is awesome IMO.

  • hey tom was the Head gasket ever done on this car? gotta love these japanese muslce cars

  • @jtreign9097

Nah, we only got half way there, I've been doing alot of field clean up lately, so not so much working on stuff.

Hope to get this thing going sometime within a month. it would only take a day or two. Not going to get the head resurfaced. we're just gonna put it back together with the new gasket, and see how long it holds at high rpm :) Things gonna be awesome.

This, Versus the 93 Q45... :) Going to be vicious

  • @tommartyn that engine could have so much more power and torque without the bad HG...mine only makes about 180hp and i love it.... the roar you hear at above 4,000rpm is sweet... these things are so indestructable and capable of so much power... i seen 92 cressida with 850hp.... it was sick...and all with a stock block.. there capable of so much! i cant wait to rebuild mine and twin turbo it

  • @jtreign9097

haha, jesus. twin turbo's going to be crazy for sure...

Can't wait to get this thing going. its just waiting to be put back together. Can't fucking wait! :)

We're going to try to keep this car sideways 90 percent of the time :)

  • Those cressidas are so much fun. RWD all the way.

  • I didn't know Toyota made any RWD cars like this. Would be fun to drop an LS1 or something along those lines in it, talk about a sleeper!

  • @MavDude

yeah! its funny, because it bassically just looks like a camry, but damn, inline 6 cylinder, 190HP and rwd... Pretty freaking awesome :) They also had the supra's. thats where this engine is normally found. I have a 76 celica thats rwd, and had an 82 corolla that was rwd. (and pushrod ) I think MR2's are RWD, and AE82's are some cool rwd drift cars as well. It really sucks though, that all car's aren't rwd... easier to work on, and a million times more fun to drive...

  • oh shit! hahahhaha those were some badass drifts! Gotta love rwd cars! Sweet video man

  • @tractormandale

RWD is definitely the way to go :) Hopefully way more footage to come!

  • Hey Tom, since you guys have those two rear wheel drive cars you should set up a drift course in the field and have drift races (; haha that would be cool!

  • @84reliantk

haha! I was thinking about that! Would be fun for sure. we've got to get something for the field that we can use to make the ground really flat and smooth. Then we could get some cool tracks going on.

  • OMG THAT LOOKS SOOOOOOO FUN!!!

  • @SuperKONR

    It is great man!

  • i see you guys got another awsome rwd purches

  • @bobhillbily

yeah man! another 92 also :) Drew's racking them in

  • It was running better the other day.

  • @coffeefish

yeah, after the coolant mostly boiled out, it ran on all 6 cylinders all the time. but we put more coolant in it, and it dropped it back down. but we figured it was better to have it cool, then running strong.

  • sounds good at high rpm just like mine. was that head gasket fixed?

  • @jtreign9097

yeah! sounds great at high rpm, this is from a few days before we ripped the head off. still waiting for us to have time to take the head out and stuff.

  • The Cressida needs a beaten!!

  • @phill903

haha, yeah it does, especially after we get the head gasket in it :)

  • Hey nice vid Mr. Parmoyle, finally get to see some intense romping. Looking fw to seeing more insane car romping of the other cars too, have u gotten the acura running yet?

  • @Neotank22000

Thanks! Haven't gotten the acura going yet, but hoping to some time this summer :) need to buy a new coil, distributor, and what ever else might be involved to convert it.

  • nice drifting man lol i love to see more of that car

  • @CRXJDM88

as soon as we get the head back on, and all the thousands of wires hooked back up, there should be more cray footage of the beast :)

  • gotta love rear wheel drive cars

  • @460fordtruckman

    Yeah man!

  • @tommartyn they are awsome are you putting it on the road

  • Cressida would make one hell of a sweet coupe

  • @noxvet

Yeah for sure, Would be a great road car

  • lol thats whats up man giver her hell.
