@dinhdinh02 Chewing hard food with removable dentures is pretty much impossible. If you had hybrids; dentures "locked" in with implant screws, I think you can. And dude yours like great. Mine look SO fake; are uncomfortable, and sit too far forward giving me a "horse teeth" look. I really should see another dentist.
@LadyRuin2012 dod you get immediate dentures? they suck.. you should bypass the dentist and go directly to the denturist.. they do a much better job because they basically make them in your mouth to suit your facial structure and bite.. the dentist just takes moulds, sends them in and sticks them in your mouth when they arrive in the mail.. the people who are making have nothing more than an impression to go by..
@MrBeefaroo You're an ass. I was on dexedrine for 15 years of my life which was used for the "treatment" of ADHD. Some people's teeth get ruined from childhood medications. My dad's adult teeth grew in green because of an antibiotic that was given to him as an infant. You never know, dude. I just hope you don't put so much value into your teeth that you cry when you have to get them all pulled out anyway.
Don't have complete dentures yet, but hope i'll get some very soon. And i hope in such awesome quality. An no, i'm not stupid, i only have big problems my whole life with my own teeth.
dOOD,I just got full dentures from AFFORDABLE DENTURES & YOUR CLICKING IS JUST AS I WAS DOING WHEN THEY WERE FITTES- TWO THUMBS UP & DOOD i AM RIGHT WITH YOU JT
I think they are great. Perfect teeth, no worries anymore about excessive cleaning to no avail. Some people just cannot maintain their teeth well enough to stop bone loss no matter what is done. Genetics do matter.
I know screws, implants are expensive, that's the point. I've got full uppers, full lowers, with varying degrees of bone resorption so they rock a lot. Both do. Even with adhesive. When I ask the doc how to get that tight fit I see others have who don't have implants, he just shakes his head and says: implants. That's it. Why is it some get super tight fits and I've had mine adjusted over & over, they feel so big, loose, rocky. I speak, grind my teeth, cannot talk, laugh, chew, swallow, bite..
dentist dont do shit when it comes to making dentures.. Lab techs to that.. Then the lab sells the full upper lower denture to the doc for about $250.. Dr. doesnt do shit.. then sells them to you for 500-1000 bucks... They look nice but I bet you got riped off... I know, I'm a tech who makes a fraction of a doc's salary..
@killerkitty777 You are dead WRONG here kiddo! First of all, the bone loss and gum recession and ligamental atrophy begin IMMEDIATELY when the teeth are extracted and it cannot be avoided. Every denture wearer experiences this loss. Also, you should take them out to soak them, sanitize them, clean them, and take time to let your gums be free to heal from potential dental sores, brush your gums and palate, overnight if possible. Keeping them in 24/7 is extremely unhealthy, you can get thrush etc
@Merrida100 ..that was not me literally commenting, it was a friend (i was telling him basically what you said but it was lost in translation, lol
Ya, the only thing that will prevent bone resorption long term is to get implants, OR, if you cant afford them or a crown , is to remove the crown & keep root (canal done) in the jawbone for the 'implant' effect. gingiva covers it and voila!
Wearing dentures all the time will wear the risidual ridge down to nothing. this is obvious :P
@TubeTrollster Hey blondduvel, I have to second Tube's comment. Can you please reply, and talk a little bit about your experiences, how/why/when you lost your teeth, how you adjusted to dentures, how long it took, how did it affect your eating, your talking, your self-confidence, your interactions? Please, please share more! What were your circumstances? And PS: I agree! You got an EXCELLENT pair of dentures, they look natural and healthy and beautiful. Very well done!!
went for my final fitting yesterday ... in two weeks i go back for the FINAL appointment when they pull out the few teeth I have left and I get my 6 month temp set .... I CAN'T WAIT!!!
You're not supposed to have full dentures at 35, not even at 53, take care of your teeth.

The titanium screw are the bomb. It is expensive, but that is what all the hollywood movie stars do.
