he's so spot on that i'd say he was channeling the original doors keyboardist,except as far as i know he's still alive and touring. hell he even dresses and looks like him. i cant even come up with a proper compliment. if you were playing in my area i would attent every show. this is from someone whos very picky and serious as to the doors catalogue. get you some mates and we will come

@xHoboMcGeex He plugged it into a tube amp and turned up the drive to give it a little bit of natural overdrive.

I believe on this record, he recorded with a Fender Twin Reverb, and ran both the Vox and Rhodes through it, I also know he used a Fender Bassman amp, although I think the Twin Reverb is what it probably is. If you plan on getting one, make sure you get a 60's model, to get his sound!

What show did you see? Ray uses an Alesis in a Faux Vox Contiental shell. He's been using an Alesis since 2002. Maybe he used something diff in the show you saw?
