So many different emotions were expressed during this game...luckily, the NDNation Game Day board served as a stress reliever for me and my family. I'll never forget all that was said before the board got 'nuked' 3 times.
Actually any team that can't beat a service academy playing without it's QB who happens to be their leading ground gainer, but that team still recovers to onside kicks and is just a wide receiver tripping over his own feet away from scoring the go ahead TD doesn't deserve to win.
actually, if you won the damn game, you deserved to win the game (apart from cheating).Haters always forget to add that ND held the #2 rushing attack in the nation to 184 yards.they also forget to mention that ND had subbed in their 2nd string into the game in the 4th.this includes a true freshman that fumbled at the goalline.also forget that ND held Navy to 1 and 13 on 3rd down conversions.They just - like idiots- thought the game was in hand when they shoud have played to the wistle
i cant even express my feeling for how dumb you are. a team 1 yard away from going up 34-7 halfway through the 4th quarter with ALL of their 2nd string in should lose the game?
By the way. The fact that YOU stated that ND was about to go up 34-7 1/2 way thru the 4th only solidifies my point. When will you guys see the writing on the wall. In the SC/ND game this year Cholie Weis decide to kick a FG late in the 4th of a game that his team was getting abused in. Who does that? What kind of lesson does that teach? You mean to tell me that ND's 2nd string can't hold an almost 3 TD lead late against a service academy that beat them for the 1st time in decades last yr? Lame.
boneheaded calls on weis' part doesnt cancel out the entire effort of the team throughout most of the game, so no as a team they didnt deserve to lose. just because weis was dumb and so was the onside return team doesnt mean the entire team deserves to lose.
