Truth is kevin garnett would have been on the cover of live 09 but 2k got to him first so 2k9 is KG; and since the lakers lost in the finals KB is not on the cover plus he is asking for alot of money to be on the cover i heard. so they put tony parker since he was basically next in line of one of the great stars yet to be on the cover. also they cannot put a celtics player on both live and 2k because that is going to cause an uproar.

Yeah that was the reason that they do not have two players from the same team on the two covers of live and 2k now. They do different players from different teams in order to keep people and players from getting out of control or upset that they are not getting the credit they deserve.
