Singing to the stones creates another frequency, this would effect other frequncies of the same tune, like a piano in a room with other piano, if they are tuned the same, if you hit a note of C, all c notes will vibrate. So, Ed was sining to the stones to make them lift, when he was ready to lift them. The tone would have to match the frequency pumped into the rock.

I can see that resistance to this information would be very big. Specially because it means a lot of money to so few people.
