  • damn i feel soo bad asking u these un nessescary question, but im doing this for a science fair project. i know the materials you need are copper tubing, schruder type valve, insulated air tight container, a drill bit. do u need a vacuum pump to perfrom the experiment in the video "Vacuum chamber experiments" ?

  • sorry to ask but could you by any chance list the materials you used

  • @kdbacho The container like whats in the video is important because of the seal, you will also need a drill bit and a schrader type valve for vacuuming the container down, besides that its just a good imagination to place your leads. good luck

  • AWESOME VIDEO, Thanks a bunch for the info Keep up the great work :D

  • i wish my dad let me play with fire

  • u in a basement Z?!

  • that there aint a lie, fine job indeed. that there boy is going to have a hell of a science fair project one day now

  • Looking to make my own vacuum chamber to purge gasses from viscous substances, how much pressure can this handle?

  • Do you think that if a wind turbine was placed in the vacuum it could be a possible source of perpetual energy?

  • hi iwas wondering ,can you create vacuum just like in space with this thing?and how do u measure the vacuum?

  • Very cool.

  • good idea

  • That's fine if you want to be the he man and forego the safetly equipment, but get some safetly gloggles for your kid.

  • Great project, your apprentice is comming along swell ;)

  • Very cool video but you need to buy a hammer :)

  • @crob227 can you use a tesla radiant energy set up and put the spark gap through the vacuum chamber? would be neat to see if you get a plasma effect or not.

  • nice job! that boy is going to have a great science fair project one day.

  • @totalresearch4545 i hope so. thanks for the comment, what you think i should do with this setup?

  • @crob227 you should use it for sound experiments .. sound can't travel without air , or any medium , using a vacuum chamber , basically what you is, u take out all the air inside the chamber ..

here is the experiment , try to put a phone or something make it sound before you put it , then close everything .. if you are "loud" enough you'll hear the particles of sound traveling across the plastic surface of the chamber , after that , take out the air from inside, you'll hear nothing after that.

  • Sweet. Great job.

  • @marthale7 thanks man. its a fun learning expirience for me and the boys, i mean, i let him play with a torch, but actually learn to solder, he did a good job also, i see grown men do worse than that at work.

  • Where did you get the plastic preserving bottle?

    Keep it on...

    Cheers...

  • @K0W0O0N0 wal mart, lol.... you know you can get some of everything there, it was less than 10 dollars, got any suggestion as to what toput in this thing?

  • @crob227 I would try to grow some crystals in it and look for the difference under normal presure.

    :-]

  • cool cant wait to see your lighning in a bottle!

my ol man never let me use a gas torch when i was a boy-looks like you got a handy apprentice!!!

  • @m3sca1 you have know idea the motivation this kids got, he drives me to take him out to the barn, and let him see the high voltage.
