  • @PetraisaPrincess - She is my grandfather's sister. The last of his siblings and I interviewed her for her thoughts on living so long. She was alive during so much change that I just wanted to share with others.

  • aww poor woman, i wish i can make elderly people young

  • Just tooo cute... I wish my grandmother was like her.... just a wonderful woman :)

  • I find people who lived a long time and have had plenty of life experiences so interesting. I could listen to her all day.

  • shes too cute..!!

  • What a neat woman! Thank you for posting this. My grandmother died in 2002 at 102, so I know what it's like to sit down and talk with someone like this. Full of stories and life lessons that we all could learn from. God Bless!

  • when i watched this video, i was hoping she was still alive she is such a nice woman she had a greatlife hope mines just as good :) r.i.p caroline

  • you know old people are the best and i doubt she is lying but how could she have a husband at 10 years old? if she was born in 1902 and the titanic sunk in 1912?

  • @MrSmartStarfish - No sorry, she wasn't on the Titanic. She was just alive during the time it sank. See comments for more details.

  • she reminds me so much of my great nan, died at the age of 101. both charming young ladies.

  • Wow. Just think. For her to sit in that chair and look back over her life. She has lived through a century where so so much has happened. What an amazing life she must have had.

  • She was a kind woman I hope she rests in peace

  • I could have listened to her all day, such a doll.

    R.I.P

    God bless

  • What a good idea to do an interview like that, otherwise that knowledge will be gone!

  • What was it like meeting her? You should've asked the secret to living so old :P

  • @maggiebabyy14 - Now, I wish I had asked her more. At least I have this.

  • Great video! Thanks for posting.

  • miss caroline , if only you could see what today bring.. i apologize for my generation

  • RIP Sweet Heart

  • Elderly interviews

  • Wow! It must of been a pleasure interviewing her!!

  • @kennifergod - Yes!

  • im 11 yrs old rite now, and y 3rd grade teacher's grandma was about to get on the titanic, but had a bad feeling, and decided not to board the ship... it is so sad...

  • is she still around?

  • God bless her. :)

  • What a woman I say! We've lost a link to the past....R.I.P.

  • god has her soul

  • Aw she was so sweet r.I.p

  • Shes a cute little old lady...and I hope to live a full life like her...now that's a blessing from God

  • Aww, she seemed like such a sweet lady. Personality wise she seemed like my own grandma who I really love. It's interesting to hear how things were back in the days. Things change so rapidly nowadays that we barely get time to stop and look at them. I hope she rests in piece :)

  • I know that the movie: "Titanic" was so accurate, but It's also so interesting to ask people who lived "Pre-Titanic disaster" years because I would love to find out what really happened from real survivors!

  • imagine living through all of those eventful decades, the roaring twenties, the great depression, the vietnam war..

  • wow she knows stuff :p

  • What a sweet lady. Bless her soul.

  • looks kinda fake cuz the interviewer is kinda sounding as he is laughing,,, also the camera is shaking.... COME ON! ARE YOU GUYS SERIOUS?! INSTEAD OF PRAISING, YOU SAY IT'S FAKE!

  • Someone tried to comment on this video, upset that I censor obscenities in these comments... I might have posted it, but they used obscenities in it. ;-)

  • @MacManMax THANK YOU!!!....YOU HAVE WISDOM!.

  • Wow...she died pretty recently, but she still lived her life.

  • Such a sharp mind. Thank-you for sharing. What a sweet woman.

  • I love her

  • I think that they saw only the pain, sadness, crying, misfortune, they could not see anything other than them the sight of dying family ...: ´ (

  • Woah she can hear amazingly for her age !

My grand-pa is 59 and he can barely hear a thing and I scream.

  • @lilmissgaga I love your comment.

  • i came here once again just to listen to her voice and fall asleep. hmm. make sure this vid doesnt disapear bc- this song is the only thing makn me sleep when im not able to. thanks man. hope to hear from u or somthin =p

  • Such a sweet lady! May she rest in peace.

  • Looks fake... but idk

  • @portucito7 - Nope, I was there. It is the real deal.

  • @portucito7 Not Fake

  • I believe the world has seen more changes during her life time, than ever before in history.

  • I love you

  • is this relevant to titanic or not, im confused...

  • @XlilandpeepsX - Just in that she was alive when the Titanic sunk. See description for more details.

  • She seemed so with it..... And still beautiful! God rest her soul. :)

  • how can someone dislice this?? = no heart

  • oh ! She's lovely lady ♥

I think we most take history

from those old people before they die ! :(

Sometimes I agree with her when she said that the space is for god and earth is ours and all what is known about space is just fake stories .... Other times I take out these ideas because knowledge is infinite . And as a human we cannot get it all !

Thanx for sharing this video & sorry if there's any mistake. I'm not English native speaker :)

  • God blessed her and her young spirit! Bless you, too for filming such a treasure of a woman. I hope she's having a good time in heaven!

  • loved the interview, she is a sweetheart of a lady. my Grandmother lived to be 105 as well. I love old people they have so much knowledge. and they grew up with a lot of respece for everyone. God bless our old people.

  • What a lovely lady! she's amazing

  • This is so whats the word "cute" :3

this is why I don't smoke, so I can live as long ass she :)

  • Its so sad that she died she seemed so sweet kind and intelligent.

  • she is sooooo cute!!!!!

  • She is a inspirtation

  • she have alot of wisdom, rip

  • what an absolute delight she was! sleep tight caroline RIP. x

  • Wow. What a nice lady! Bless her soul

  • I agree with what she said! Being a kid myself, our generation is just out of control. It's all about sex, drinking, being popular, I hate it! We don't seem to have any self dignity. I think I am the only kid at my school who prays at night. We need to realize we are thankful, or this world will be screwed over...

  • @XXNikolaiXXz me 2!! im also of thus generation and its so sad how people screw themselves up. We are desensitized from violence. i pray everysingle night and its sad how people get everything they want. I would not want to get everything i want, i would feel bad and spoiled!! I would definately work to get things i want in life, it seems more fair.

  • she looked well despite her age, rest in peace lady.

  • this woman is very very wise...please listen to here, she speaks the truth.

  • Rip the last survivor of the titanic what a charming young lady

  • @SmokeandFly1991 - She was alive during the time of the Titanic, but she wasn't a passenger.

  • @MacManMax was she born 1903?

  • @DefinitiveConor - she was born in 1902.

  • @SmokeandFly1991 what u talking about willis

  • @SmokeandFly1991 She wasn't the last surviving passenger on the Titantic. Milvina Dean was 6 weeks old and emigrating to America on the Titanic when it sunk. She died in 2009. But this lady is very interesting.

  • @SmokeandFly1991 their are no survivors left after the last on passed in WV

  • She was such a sweet old lady.. Lucky you got to meet her.

    Rest in peace :)

  • Wonderful lady - and she remained fully compos mentis until such great age. I hope she is enjoying her new life in the Creator's company. Also she was very shrewd - I too have doubts about the moon landing

  • wow, she doesn't look too bad for her age - lots of respect!

  • wow. you asked some good questions.. GREAT JOB!!

  • This is actually the first video I've watched where I didn't check the remaining time.... I could honestly have listened to her talk all day..

  • She lived for a century.

She witnessed how the World have changed. Back then and present are like two different World. She's Amazing! * Salute *

May her soul Rest In Peace~

    1902-2008

  • she was so lively for a 103 ... she reminded me of my grandma

  • Awesome...a big thanks for having the brains to interview such a treasure..and yes Australia is a Beautiful place :-)

  • thanks for this but too bad you wont post comments people have made. this is youtube and i like it to be interactive.and sharing. anyway, sure is kinda funny she didnt believe man walking on the moon and interesting she thought that man didnt belong in space. my dad passed away this past july at the ripe old age of 92. interestingly enough mom and i were talking today a bit about the amazing things he witnessed

  • @2malscott - I approve most of the things people post here. I don't allow swearing though. (Wish more people would censor their comments too. As Caroline said, there is no respect today.)

  • @MacManMax i agree there is no need for swearing on this page.personally i dont believe in censorship of any kind even self censorship but i do believe in being appropriate. swearing or being rude definetly is not appropriate on this page.

  • Caroline for president?

  • @ChitownSox10 - Absolutely!

  • Wow, cant believe she was 103 in that interview, she did really well answering all the question.

Im Australian and she said that Australia was the best place- and it really is-

  • she's right about the kids with no respect!

  • how old is she to day

  • how old is she to day

  • @claywright60 - She lived to be 105. She has passed.

  • what so she was just alive when it happened or was she actually on it

  • @PhDGamin - Just alive when it happened. Along with a lot of other amazing things.

  • Is this the lady that threw the necklace off the ship?

  • @wowmodblake - Lol. No. Rose was a fictional character and Caroline never stepped foot on the Titanic.

  • "That's G*d's space."

    I love it.

  • God bless her

  • I agree with the moon landing part :) We belong down here :)

  • one question... was she awsome

  • @JakeMaylan - Yes.

  • wow...she was in REALLY good health for 103!

  • when was this interview?

  • @pelletgunhero - I recorded the interview in 2005 and she passed away March 14, 2008 at 105 years old. Amazing.

  • @MacManMax Oh wow, this was posted a day after her passing.

  • @MacManMax I like her. im 19 and Like i agree with her. about respect for others and everything. shes adorable .

  • Agree 100% Im 46 years old and I believe America died after 1946 and the childern now in 2011 are the most disrespectful I've ever seen. We cant survive at this rate and to think about it, they're our future. The dougie is nothing but a vulgar version of the charlston. I wish it were 1940 without the the war, again... and forever that time!

  • omg she is so sweet !!

  • It's so sad to think she died not believing a man walked on the moon

  • 2:04 - 2:38 she's right. :(

  • wow shes in shape

  • hey ppl how can you dislike this??? if you don't like so don't watch

  • bless her :'}

  • Did she pass away?

  • @jadeybuglucero - Yes, sorry to say.

  • @MacManMax i am sorry i didn't see the movie, but which one is she exactly, or is she just a regular passenger?

  • @CCCPWolfGuard - No, she was only alive when the Titanic sunk, she was never a passenger. See the video notes for more details.

  • @jadeybuglucero yes she passed away....god help her.Amen!

  • I want to know her secret for living so long????

  • How did she get off the Titanic.

  • I'm wondering if you could upload the whole interview of 20mins, i'd really love to watch that... you can listen to her talk for hours...

  • @ash19037 - I wish I could, but the the rest of the interview she spoke of personal family matters and so out of respect to our family I need to keep that private.

  • @MacManMax

Ok thanks for letting me know really appreciated, great upload by the way... We didn't have all these technological advances and life was simple and yet better in a way... Really love her speech, so once more thanks!

  • I have been watching this video for two years. I agree with her views, and she reminds me so much of my grandmom who passed in 2009. God bless her and may she and my grandmom rest in peace and be friends in Heaven :)

  • While I realize it was not necessarily intentional, I find this quite inspiring...

  • she was only 10 wen she board Titanic

  • my mom also tells me that people should never go to space because it's God's place :) we dont have the right to interrupt the outside world since here on earth is where we are destined and i btw also agree with it. And also the part where she said that our future generations are going wild and losing respect to themselves and others. We should work together and try to be cooperative of being respectful to others and keep our religions. IF NOT. OH HOW I WISH I WAS BORN IN THE OLD DAYS :)

  • Very nice interview!

  • aawwww shes so cute!

  • Very enjoyable. She could talk for hours, days for the listening ear.

  • Felt bad as she is no more even if 105 years old. I have urge to visit Australia some day now. The only message she gave was Respect! Learn to Respect others and parents ! Thats our ancestors' wish. It was soothing and peaceful to see this video. Sweet interview. Thanks for sharing this.

  • R.I.P

  • What a wise woman. R.I.P

  • That's a blessing for her mind to be that sharp at her age....she's right about this society...we have lost so many morals and values

  • The knowledge of old people is the most precious thing in life!

I am 16 and I can´t think forward, to not know what happens in past is amazing!

Old people can tell you theyr life story in a few sentences.

Everyone old person can write a book.

It´s very intresting to hear theyr impression of life.

Greetings from Austria and thank you for this intresting interview, Sir!

  • she was amazing! ^.^

  • 80 years from now, i want to be able to tell a story like this

  • God Bless her soul.

  • My grandma passed away when I was 9... It was so sad and she reminds me of her when

I was little... Thank you for uploading the video I really appreciate it

  • In the year 2102...a person born in 2002 will be interviewed and the changes THEY will have witnessed will be ten fold from 1900-2000

  • Great video nice to hear good storys

  • "cars were unusual when she was a little girl". what an incredable thing to say you can remember.

  • Does she live today? :)

  • @gud657 - No, she passed away. I posted the video as a tribute to her.

  • Although I don't fall in line with her in the religion part. But I will say it's sad to see the respect levels of her generation and my generation. I'm 21. I find myself enjoying talking to the elderly more than my own generation. People in my generation have nothing interesting to say.

  • YEAH AUSTRALIA

  • I have been watching this video for two and a half years. I love it. She reminds me of my grandmom who died in 2009. May Ms Caroline rest in peace.

  • she's one of those cool old people that I like being around (:

  • shes right about respect everyone's lost that

  • how can someone dislike this?

  • RIP Caroline !

  • awwww, when i watch "old" people it breaks my heart, they're always happy and i just wanna give her the biggest hug :')

  • awwh! shes so cute!!!! i just want to give her a bigg hug! :'( i love old people, its so sad that they're very close to death -/3

  • god rest her soul they shall be rest her heart

  • What kind of people give thumps down on this kind of video, shes so nice

  • i dissagree with that last statement

  • 103 years young?

  • I can see why she lived to be 103! It's been a known fact that people who are religious tend to live longer lives.

  • I know she wasn't a passenger on the Titanic, but speaking of the Titanic, I remember a few years back on how the last survivor on the Titanic died at the age of 92, I believe. She was an infant at the time.

  • I loved listening to her speak. I absolutely respect elders since they know so much and since I grew up with them(children my own age never really like me. Adhd made it hard for me to make friends haha)I cannot help but love being around them and learn from their experience. Ms. Caroline seems like she was a wonderful woman and I would have been blessed by God to meet a woman so astounding. I do hope I am correct in my judgement of her. I am not saying she's a saint but I am saying she is quit

  • What an amazing old lady. Her comments are so true at the 4 minute mark too.

  • i wish he ask her what if we realy move you up to moon and walk on it what will you say

  • Thanks a lot for doing this interview. Something very rare that means so much.

  • What an amazing example of wisdom and kindness! So bad she died but, in fact, she lived her life - happily I see - and got to meet her true love to whom she was married over 50 years.. Wow! Did she has children or grandchildren?

  • @STEFF1995S - No, no children, but she enjoyed life none the less.

  • What a nice old Woman! :D

  • 1 There Was NO ROSE That Was Just A Movie!! 2 Old ppl Are So Awesome!!

  • did she die?

  • @TheIntunecatu - Yes, unfortunately.

  • RIP Caroline

  • Was She Acctually on the Titanic when it sunk? shes so cute <3 i love elderly people ;)

  • @BendySpendy - No, she was just alive during the time that it sank, as well as during many other amazing events.

  • this makes me cry. of sadness and happiness. people like her are my idols. god bless her heart <3

  • Wow great upload!

  • I feel like such a noob at life.

  • Is she still kicking
