His Holy Spirit gives us the words we need. Jesus spoke many things to His followers and those words relate to us. He said that the Holy Spirit would come and reveal ALL THINGS to us. The Bible quenches the Spirit and this is warned against by the Lord. God speaks all the time not just in the Bible!
I recommend you start with Genesis 1:1, and then keep reading all the way until the end of the book, without having other people filling your head with their personal interpretations of what it means.
