I think Carwin can win at UFC 116 b/c he's the kind of fighter that can change up his game plan. Brock is definitely going to try and keep the fight on the ground, so I think Carwin should focus on his take down defense and definitely focus on Jiu-Jitsu. The ONLY times he has shown disrespect to fighters is when THEY have done so to him. Such a Herring/Mir. He has never dissed Carwin or Randy. It's normal human nature. Brock showed a lot of heart in that fight. I can tell you not many people can keep fighting after that brutal beatdown he was given. They even raised hands. Real props to both.

This is going to be a tough fight for both fighters. If Carwin can keep it standing, then he's got a good chance of getting the KO. From the Mir fight, we know that Carwin is very good in the clinch game, & has good KO power. Brock doesn't have a strong chin. However, if Brock takes Carwin down, then he will win by ground & pound or lay & prey. Brock's ground control is 2nd to none. I don't see Carwin gettup if he gets taken down. The takedown is the key to 1 man winning & 1 man losing.

I think Carwin can win at UFC 116 b/c he's the kind of fighter that can change up his game plan. Brock is definitely going to try and keep the fight on the ground, so I think Carwin should focus on his take down defense and definitely focus on Jiu-Jitsu. His dirty boxing worked against Mir and I think it will against Brock as well.
Lesnar has proven that he can TKO other fighters; but Carwin has shown that if you give him an inch, he'll knock you unconscious. This is gonna be an epic fight.
