For me, Perry delivers the best Christmas songs EVER. Ave Maria, Home for the Holidays, etc. His voice brings back so many good memories of Christmas' past when times were different. I miss those days...
I LOVE LOVE LOVE this version. I have it on a Chex Holiday mix CD LOL. This song is usually to be sung with the same delicate touch as Silent Night- and this version fully accomplishes that. Too many pop/country stars come out these days belting it and kill the song. This version is pure beauty.
I wonder what old Perry would've thought of Cartman's version... I almost can't finish listening to this. The tears... and I'm not even drinking tonight.
@1956cadillaclover Hi; thanks for your reply; well I checked it and obviously you are right! I only had this song and didnt know the performer; but the voice did so much sound like Sinatra; that I just prompted that name.
@guardianofretro There are some songs they do sound alike. Even Dean Martin and como can sound alike in certian songs. Im just a big Como fan and i have his Christmas record and O holy Night is on it! You still posted a great song who knows maybe people would have thought is was Mr. Sinatra! you have a Merry Christmas & God Bless you ;)
