even if it were started by someone that wanted to use it for control, it doesn't matter unless they succeed. the only way they would succeed is if the movement proceeds as planned and then goes away when needed to. if the movement stuck around and grew and MAJORITY was out there for the 'good' causes that the movement itself was after, then good things will happen. it's like voting, if you have 75% of the ppl voting(e.g. via protesting) then the movement succeeds, not the elitists plan.

wait.. so the OWS movement wasn't for freedom, wasn't for equality, wasn't for what the protesters were out their protesting (like greedy ppl from wallstreet/banks/the fed/ etc.)? or were the protesters out there protesting legitimate reasons? if the ppl protesting were protesting for legitimate ideas (e.g. stop stealing by inflation), then thats all needs to be known. in that scenario, the only problem is ppl like you who don't want to join and support a cause that is ultimately human like.
