  • this not GCEA !!!! it seems !!!

  • @Jimreeves20 I made this a long time ago. I usually drop the tuning down half a step so that's probably why it doesn't jive. (Also, I'm not sure there is an E in it. I don't have it at hand to check for sure)

  • @LudgerSylbaris No problems ;) anyway I have a lot of mahalo U-30 in all colors for fun .some are in D tune

  • I WANT ONE

  • You figured it out yourself but you're smarter than me! Please do a tutorial or put up tab, oh please!

  • im getting a black one on monday :)

  • awesome! :D

  • i have that same exact uke haha

  • bought today a Mahalo Uke!

    :)

  • this is mahalo uk-200?

  • Mahalo ukuleles are cheaply made and because they are cheap they have rubbish strings and tuning pegs. You should save up some cash and get some new tuning pegs and strings from your local music shop. I would reccomend Worth strings for your uke. Also when your uke is new, you need to give time for the strings to bend and adjust, bcause at first, the strings are very slack and don't stay in tune, but keep tuning it on a daily basis and upgrade your strings and your uke will be ok.

  • @IFmusicIF Thanks for the helpful tips - much appreciated.

  • @IFmusicIF the new models have better tuning heads (acoustic tuning heads instead of slip or friction machine heads) the strings after a day of first tuning stay in tune for ages, the tension and sound of the uke they make is great.. i've had my default strings etc and uke for 2 weeks now and i love it.. but i have to admit to get the full sound out of a ukulele buy a slightly bigger wooden one for a bit more money, my uke is wood but has been painted. i recomend buy if just for fun or learning

  • where did you get the tab/chords for this?

    dying to learn it!

  • @xoxocaityyyy

I figured this one out myself. The chords are G, C and D

  • nice job

  • is that mahalo 200? if so, that's a pretty good deal! now i'm thinking about to purchase one

  • its a beginners ukelele i have the same model and it was like 20 something bucks

  • will you make a tutorial on this please? 8)

  • i got this exact uke today, for 30$. it's actually pretty decent, for begginers. the tuning sucks though, i can never stay in perfect tune. other than that, it's not bad.

  • @xbox360nerd1 my girlfriends dad just bought me this as a birthday present :) he did say that he had the same problem with his, its nothing to do with the ukulele its the strings that come with it are no good and stretch themselves out of tune... all you need to do is get different strings :)

  • i got this uke..i like

  • Guess I'm not the only one who found the tuning a bit unstable... I'm an absolute beginner though, got myself a little champagne pink one.

  • these uks are very cheap but... good for party ! mine's yellow ,,,hard to make a good setup for this kind of ukes

  • Well they are cheap but you can certainly knock out a good tune. Yes the tuning wanders off a bit but doesn't any uke? If you're playing on your own they say it doesn't really matter. It's when you play as a group you need stability. So play away is my motto.

    Mines' a pink one ;-)

BTW I've still got the original strings. I've heard that putting better strings in would help. Anyone done that?

  • sweet. I have a tiny mahalo guitar which is green too.

  • AWSOME! Can you please tell me the chords, or create a tab?

  • are those the original strings?

  • thanks for posting this video! now I know its okay for me to get one of those ukes, I wasn't sure if they were okay because of their low cost.

  • Is that a good ukulele?

I think I'm going to buy one just in yellow.

  • Just being a beginner I have no idea if it's a good uke or not. It makes the noises I want it to, so it suits me fine. Buy one and have fun!

  • Thanks:)

  • hey :) just wondering as i have the same mahalo ukulele in yellow. does yours stay in tune? or have i just got a dodgy one :S

  • The tuning isn't too stable..but I haven't noticed it as a big problem. I tune mine half a step down so I don't know if that has anything to do with it.

  • @LudgerSylbaris have you tightened the tuners with a screwdriver?

  • mine doesn't :|

  • MAD ! that made me SMILE!!

  • i have da exact uke

  • i got a red one

  • Ah, I've got the same uke! Dame colour too. Nice playing!

  • are the strings plastic (like clear colored)

because Mahalo is the one that i have and my strings are plastic...will it make the same sound or do i have to buy some better strings?

  • they are nylon strings which are also used for classical guitars.

  • alright thanks ;)

  • hi is da fret board on dat wooden or plastic?

oh yh gr8 playin by da way :-]

  • guys what can you tell me about mahalo? someone told me that for the same price (like 30 EUR) you can have a Arrow ST 740 that sounds better...! how mahalo is?

  • I live in hawaii and. Neither are good.

  • I have the exact same colour uke :D awesome!

  • thats the one i have =]

  • i thinkin of getting a mahalo entry uke...worth it? how does it play?

  • Like I mentioned below, I don't know much about ukes. This one was a gift and it seems to do the job. MonkeyKnifeFight12 below looks like he/she has a better grasp on the quality of ukeleles. Thanks for the comment.

  • loll awesome, nice playing!

  • wait thats not even him. he stops playing but the music keeps going.

was i the only one that noticed this?

  • the video and music are out of sync but it is him playing :)

  • Did you have trouble trying to tune the mahalo at first? I'm really struggling with mine!

  • me too.. in fact I have given up and havent used it because of it

  • I had trouble too, then I bought one of those cheap-o suction cup mic thingies and plugged in into my guitar tuner pedal. Works like a charm.

  • I am too! The G string sounds flat no matter what I do!

  • u got chords/tabs please?

  • I figured this one out myself. The chords are G, C and D.

  • i got a mahalo ukulele in green like this one =]

  • would you recomend the mahalo ukulele? thankyou

  • I don't really know much about ukes but it sounds and works fine for me. Thanks for the comment.

  • Mahalo's are very cheap but for the price they are pretty amazing quality. Though if you get into uke you will probably outgrow it quickly. They have a pretty high action and in general the sound just isn't very rich. I used one for a few months then recently moved on to a Flea.

  • nice one man :)

  • Nice man ;D

  • Thanks for the comment.
