These protests are a replay of the August protests, which were directly organized by the insurance companies. There is no pro-public option lobby to match the enormous strength of the insurance companies. Big Health Insurance funds the think tanks, the think tanks craft talking points to satisfy their sponsors, and Fox News delivers the talking points to a few million people each day. The left doesn't have a news network that engages in over political activity the way that Fox does.
