  • I just used the Drum Sander on my downstairs, and that thing is a beast!!! I had to use 24 grit sandpaper to pull up a 30 year old rubber underlay and that Sander was a life saver!!!

  • little wood fibers curl up when any liquid is applied thats the rough feel you get on every painting job just sand and as smooth as it feels thats as smooth as the next coat will feel when it drys

  • He probably used water-bashed finish, so what he is experienced grain raise, which is common with water base. He needs to abrade screen the 1st coat once it dries and apply a second coat and he should be all good.

  • Tacking the floor is a great way to clean after a good vacuuming. But you should use a dry rag. Wet rags on bare wood will pop the grain and could make your color look uneven. Damp rags after it's been sealed are OK.

  • That's why you use mineral spirits or paint thinner and not water.

  • Waste of materials but go ahead. It's just a little bit of info people should know about water.

    For the first 60 day's then you should throw it out the window of the van and go back to the B2

  • super 7 is the best edger ever made. I've had and have all kinds including the b2 and I always go to the super 7 every time.

    they never really got into stains. I want to stain my floor really dark with a high gloss....

  • It really is! I sand and refinsh floors as well and ive and to fix other floor sanders mastakes! This is very thurogh!
