i know what you mean, I've had the flu so I got nothing else to do except watch 15 year old simpsons episodes and play vector defense, I can't get past 11,000,000 though... have you, and if you have.. any advice.

lol, using your method (vastly improved) I managed to get a score of 11,000,000. However i used your strat (in a way) so i give the credit to you. Basically the main difference was i didn't get the Red Rockets until the enemies had around 40k hp, and i held no reverence for the amount of lives I had, (ended up with 16 lives, all losses from boss). And covered every square inch of path with slow towers, doubling - quadrupling the red rockets effect. I beat it with only 4 lvl 10 red rockets.

It takes WAY too long to play this game, I have been working on making games and being active in a gaming community, so I no longer have time for vtd...sorry. I can give you a hint: sometimes it's best to saccrifice a few pawns at the beginning to amass a cashflow to destroy all the enemies later.

I set the screen capture software to take a snapshot like once a second or something. I knew what I was going to do before I did it, so the entire video was me actually playing without edit.

interest builds the money exponentially, the less you spend, the more you'll have in the long run.

Nevermind I can tell by the range.

I didn't upgrade until 35, and even then I probably should've waited. Playing this game, I have noticed that building more towers is much better than upgrading them (2 guns is always better than 1 gun with a bigger bullet).  This isn't the case with most other TD games though (since the monsters become immune to lower level towers).

You are given a small amount of money to purchase towers to defend yourself with. Any time one of those things reaches the end, you lose a life, and in this case, you are given 20 lives. Most people place huge amount of towers, but I did it minimally and got a high score on the leaderboard...just trying out CamStudio.

Dang youtube totally screwed that up, and I even had the compression ratio up high and they still wanted less space...well whatever, the end result was: HUGE amount of money, 25 lives, 8041810 score 30% interest.
