I think this is probably the funniest All in the Family episode ever...Archie's extreme's of being ultra angry and ultra mellow crack me up all the time in this one. I've never seen the entire episode, I guess TV edited parts to make room for commercials. Thanks for posting the ENTIRE episode.
There's very little difference between Archie and Rush Limbaugh. Well .... maybe Archie is somewhat more intelligent than Rush, but I almost can't tell them apart.

@ShadowBirdEric Lamont's friend Rollo on Sanford & Son was played by Nathaniel Taylor, not Ron Glass. I do remember him as the blind con artist in Good Times, though.
@phil83ish Yes, Rollo was Lamont's friend but not the one i was thinking of. Go look up Ron Glass on imdb & you'll see that Ron Glass "Guest Starred" on an Episode of Sanford & Son. On that episode he played an ex-con who was looking for work but Grady didn't trust him. It was one of the episodes where Grady was filling in for Fred.. I guess you didn't watch that one, it was a good episode though you should check it out.
Michael was a blathering, delusional idiot to call the black man an 'Uncle Tom,' especially with how he put Archie in his place about calling him 'boy...'
Thanks so much for posting this. It's one of my FAVE AITF episodes! I also love the one where Gloria brings home a wig- & Mike likes her better with it! BTW, IMO all 4 actors are superb in their ROLES!!!!!!

same here, he annoys me too. worst character on the show, and gloria wasn't much better. he just could never learn when to shut his mouth. Sadly enough this character is pretty much a mirror as to how he is in real life. He's an over zealous jackass...pretty sad:(

Both Archie and Meathead exaggerate their points of view. Edith's version Jack is a balance between the two extremes. One sympathizes with him and sees the right and left as "a plague on both houses".
