My daughter's father was a Navy SEAL and served in the Desert Storm debacle and hasn't been the same since. Strange blood illnesses and even worse - alter personalities. I've witnessed and heard this personally. Certain things trigger him and he can be a fu-loving pussycat one minute and a super-violent crazy the next. And then back again. He can hold his breath underwater for long periods of time and they find that quite useful.
