You don't need to travel to Ghana to see the abuse of Hazardous Wastes. The irish environmental authorities have been turing a blind eye to unwashed chemical containers and contaminated silage plastics being exported. This waste ends up in China and Vietnam where it ends up being washed in rivers, often by children.

I find it irresponsible for these big TV manufacturing companies & the TV broadcast stations forcing the people to buy these new state of the art cheaply made ACL\Plasma... or whatever they call it ,TV's that break down so easely and cost a fortune to buy and repair.Its so wrong,something must be done or in 5-10 years we will have to buy more TV's because they will change the format again.What do i care about HD or DTV,i did not ask for it and i don't want it.Stop the madness now!

I really hate that i will have to throw out not one but 2 TV's very soon,a perfectly well working 19 inch RCA TV that is 22 years of age and use also its RCA analog antenna and a 4 year old Misakai brand 32inch TV that also works fine, because it does not have HD and DTV.All my local stations will change their analog format to digital in Canada by august 2011,thats so wrong ,it creates more E waste & i hate that.For the past few years i have noticed too many nice TV's on street trash bins.
