Yep. Only Sakuraba's piano solo is on the SFC version.

Is this in the abyss of Thor where you get aska? Is the solo only in the PS1 version?

Yes, this is in one of the buildings in Thor in the future. I am sure that this is also in the PSP version, but I don't know about the SNES or GBA versions. I do know that Sakuraba's solo is in the SNES/GBA versions though.
