What a load of puerile nonsense, more suited to a kids show. I know it's only a bit of fun, and Norris and Mary are perceived as mostly comic characters, but I can't believe the actors would lend themselves to this. I'm a fan of the show, but wouldn't buy something merely because it had Coronation Street slapped on it. Christmas is the silly season though! Previous spin offs were also disappointing, it takes the credibility away from the characters once they leave Weatherfield.
I met Brian Capron in-person on Monday after watching a show of his on stage. He was the one who told me about Knights tale after I asked him about the press saying Hillman' brother was coming to the street. Mr Capron told me that he is not returning to coronation street because it's far to long to drive. A very nice man and he gave me very tips on speaking the American accent.
