I can't wait til the Hydrogen Gas vehicle comes out. I wonder what the power output would be. I heard Hydrogen vehicles produce the same amount of power as gasoline vehicles with 30% burning efficiency. There's technology right now that can make hydrogen instantaneously without need of much electricity.
easy to make an engine run on any fuel, get rid of the fuel injection system and put a carbourater on it.. DONE..
fuel injection is actually the reason you cant run it. it adjusts the fuel.. meaning if it sense's its lean, it just adds more fuel.. Hydrogen is lighter then air, so it would make the fuel injection think its running lean when its not..
so you fool the oxygen sensor with an EFIE (Electronic Fuel Injection Enhancer.. you can buy them for $10 :-)
I have a question regarding the first law of thermodynamics. Mind that I'm not questioning the potential of the HHO cell, but right now I'm only intrested in the environmental potential of the HHO cell.
So my question is:
Doesn't it take as much energy to seperate the water into HHO gas as you get out of burning it?
If this is so, the hydrogen generator is only good for the environment if the electricity used to seperate water in to the HHO gas comes from a renewable source.
@angelolife burning hydrogen = about 3x the kinetic energy of gasoline.. while it only take 240 watts to make a litre or 2 of HHO using effecient electrolysis, its so close the only thing we need to advance is more effecient alternaters.. permanent magnets alternaters are almost 85% so we don't have that long to go..
Yes, a car the can create its own fuel from water.. its been done (Stan Meyers) so I guess we're not that far away, just the oil company's in the way now :-\
Longer Answer : Even with a hypothetical 100% efficient alternator, the power output from burning oxygen en hydrogen is less then the energy needed to separate the atoms in the water-molecule. Even when considering claims that say the mixture provides better all-over combustion, this energy loss does not weight out against even the most extreme outliers that have been tested in lab setups. So NO, in real life you lose a lot of energy.
@simyan2008 you can get all the information you need at the website under the video description. Step by step plans and schematics, everything about HHO Injection
@HydrogenHybridCars thanks i'll have a look, did you know they are soon making it illegal to own a car with no insurance in uk? even off the road, which means people who wanna work on cars, do them up or use them for some kind of project will have to pay to insure the vehicle just to have it in the garage :( big brother making people pay up more money and taking yet another piece of freedom away.

yea, I have the same sort of question that simyan has. What do you study in school for this kind of project?
420fudge420 9 months ago
@420fudge420 Automotive and electronics. Thats all I ever studied. I have no college education. Just hands-on research in my garage.

this is awesome, what do i need to study to understand stuff like this better?
AND 310 views for this against ass shaking 100k plus views what sort of world are we living in.
