It looks nice.. I wont lie. Maybe not on Portlands level, but looks like Sacramento is becoming a livable place surely or this main part certainly is anyhow.
I say make the dumbasses who want it, pay for it. Otherwise this is stupid and a waste of time. Try cleaning up the homeless, thugs, drunks, and druggies -- before you waste tax dollars on this BS.
lots of great things coming to downtown, midtown and west sacramento. alot of new development going to be done around the river, going to be a great place to be!
I hope that they take out the draw bridge and make new bridge higher before putting in the trolley because the drawbridge makes traffic worse, because we have boats, ship going by.
How about we get a train that goes to the citrus heights area...This is just pointless,I can make that walk in about 20 minutes. How about improving our already pathetic public transportation first?Seriously...Our public transportation is just sad,I mean...our light rail doesnt even run passed 12:30 AM,and our busses stop running at about 8-9 PM.The only thing our public transportation is good for right now is for people who live in east sac and work downtown.
Its like Sactown only cares about the people with money or political clout. West Sac has its game on and doesnt need this. And yes how about a line over to Arden Fair and Sunrise Mall? Places regular folks like me would have been going to if I hadnt gotten fed up and moved away?
If it did stops around Arden Fair, Old Sacramento, or maybe the Cal Expo Fair grounds I might use it. Too bad there is nothing in Downtown that I would like to see.
an excellent and enjoyable way to travel, in my opinion. great view, cheap, efficient, environemntally friendly, nice for tourists, nice for those who dont have car and still wish to see something outside the window from time to time. plus itll help reduce a lot of traffic. the more alternatives to urban transportation, the better, in my opinion. keep it up!
Let´s built this. It will help to reduce car polution. USA must change type of transportation. No cars! No polution! But environmentaly freindly public transportation!!
Primove is an emerging technology that eliminates the necessity for overhead wires, known as catenaries.

Why don't we use this transportation and take it to the airport? I think it would make a better impression.

Why exactly would it go to City Hall in West Sacramento? How about going to where people actually LIVE?
A much better plan would involve going down jefferson blvd.

Too close to the curb. Unexpecting people could get hit by it. They should install it against the far lane. Like how Los Angeles did it!

Is this expandable? That hardly seems like enough capacity for what is needed.
I appreciate the nice renders and the new routes. This is a step towards the right direction for Sacramento.
