@TrooperLinks Because while your flying you're pretty much on a flying mount. Crusader mount makes you got a hell of a lot faster. Aura mastery also helps you go even faster.

What we did in my raid was have 3 people in the portals constantly, and the other 2 or 3 healing the raid. We had 2 holy pallies, and i think a shaman in the ports. the fight was fast this way. pallies holy light for 100k to 200k each one : )

shaman heal r no biggie, riptide the dps and tanks, whch therefore speedbuffs healing wave. use healing wave on the dragon, and chainheal the raid, put all resis totems up and str/agil totem. pallys wis ill suffice mana totem. best team would b pally, priest, shaman. reply for tips or additions
Just a tip for healers using heal-bot for this fight if you set her as focus then go to your heal-bot setings you can put her into it helped me out alot..
I don't think serendipity is necessary if you're just healing the dragon as a holy priest. You will likely be only casting greater heal as it is higher HPS to do so.
If you're also on the raid then it will come in handy though.
@Rushthatspeaks I have no clue what you're talking about, this is my first time using tankspot and i found it incredibly helpful....and I'm a dps, she covered what ground was needed in the video about what needed to be done, then again, judging by your comment, i doubt u got that far into the video due to some ridiculous, seemingly unfounded bias. oh and if that music distracted you, then u have some crazy ADD the likes of which the world has never seen

A shortcut not mentioned on this video, Hunters are capable of specing their pets to recieve 40% more heals. If a pally puts a beacon on Dreamwalker, and then heals the pet, your pally will essentially heal for a free bonus 40%. Makes the fight go a bit quicker, and posts some huge numbers for a pally.

I just want to ask why i have to sit through half the video simply to learn about the emerald dream part of this encounter. She wastes half the video simply repeating what we can easily learn in the(shorter) 10man version guide. Ultimately i have to say you have lost yet another supporter.

@covac45 yes she can be beaconed.. but the pally should be focusing on dreamwalker, IF and only if you raid heals can keep the tank up there is no need for the pally to be healing the tank. if the tank does need bigger heals the tank should be beaconed and the mian heals comming from the pally should be going to dreamwalker. :)
I beacon her so that ALL heals that i do to everyone else in the raid, she recieves. I dont see how that's worse than only healing her and beaconing a tank. The tank will only end up being totally overhealed and i wont be able to help out the other healers with damage on the raid :S
at about 5:40 she is suggesting what heals to use for each class.
But in the end... she forgets to tell what shamans should use. Is this a suggestion that a shaman shouldn't heal Valithria? or did she simply forget =P.

You....used Flash Heal almost entirely through this fight. You also got hit by two frost blasts. These kind of mistakes would cause a wipe in 10 man. It's good thing you've got 24 other people to pick up the slack. Seriously, what was your healing contribution on the meter at the end of this fight?
@Aarkuma What do you expect in the first week of release's first attempt? Nobody knew what to do or what to expect. =P Healing contribution was not better or worse than anyone else's (other than pallies).
replace * with . extremely cheap gold, as low as 3.50 per 1000g on US Realms, lower than 2 USD per 1000g on EU realms! Get it while it last! 1-12 hour delivery!
Also, on that basis - the other fights are only 5 minute videos, because the fights are 5 minutes. The length of the videos are not set on how much the author wants to speak, or how complicated the tactics - but the actual length of the video plus introduction.

I should have been clearer on my point. Their videos dont need to be as long as they are. NONE of them do. Tankspot doesn't do a good job of syncing their encounter explanations with the video as it plays. If you're going to show an entire boss fight in real time, then explain exactly what is happening in that fight AS it is being shown. OR edit the fight down to only show the important parts.

There is no truth in statements that all females ride coat tails of male players. Some may, just as some men pretend to be females to attain free lewtz. But there are a great number of very talented women playing all classes. Just because you are too small minded to believe it doesn't make it false.
The video is 8 minutes long - but she speaks for about 5 minutes of it. The last 3 minutes she is silent. The video is 8 minutes long because the FIGHT is 8 minutes long! Omg.
It's also important that healers are well protected, because the more stacks they have, the more damage they take, after 20 stacks, they can easily get one-shotted, and its best to pop heroism when she is healed approximately 75% also its important for the healers going in to keep going in and not miss any clouds, or else they lose ALL of their stacks, plus iceblock/divine shield will cause all stacks to disapear, so don't use them

This chick shows us the fight from HER perspective a healing perspective, way the fuck up camera panned way out. This fight is entirely an add fight, all the healers have to do is HEAL well. She doesn't show us anything up close regarding add control.
@Rushthatspeaks Believe it or not, dumbass, your DPS role is not the only role in the game. As a healer, I found this a hell of a lot more helpful than the other 10-man video, which shows it from a DPS perspective.
If you do not like Tankspot, don't search up their videos and comment on them. Tankspot is generally regarded as one of the best guide sites to learn from.
As a healer, you could argue that in any encounter all us healers have to do is "heal well". But there is more to it than that.

You're right but Tankspot doesn't ever show dps perspective. and this fight is primarily dps. But don't you worry I won't ever watch another Tankspot video save responding to you here. There shouldn't be any music when one is trying to learn a strat.
@pecopeco009 Heals end the encounter, dps/tanks prevent it from wiping. So it isn't a lot to ask to heal right. The real action is going on with the adds coming in great waves. If dps isn't constantly on the right target=wipe. You cant just sit there dps-ing one thing if a worse add is out. If you sit there like a moron on an Abom when there is a skeleton out, you're fucked.

@covac45 yes she can be beaconed.. but the pally should be focusing on dreamwalker, IF and only if you raid heals can keep the tank up there is no need for the pally to be healing the tank. if the tank does need bigger heals the tank should be beaconed and the mian heals comming from the pally should be going to dreamwalker. :)

I beacon her so that ALL heals that i do to everyone else in the raid, she recieves. I dont see how that's worse than only healing her and beaconing a tank. The tank will only end up being totally overhealed and i wont be able to help out the other healers with damage on the raid :S

at about 5:40 she is suggesting what heals to use for each class.
But in the end... she forgets to tell what shamans should use. Is this a suggestion that a shaman shouldn't heal Valithria? or did she simply forget =P.
its not hard to think of an heal tho for shamans, was just wondering.

You....used Flash Heal almost entirely through this fight. You also got hit by two frost blasts. These kind of mistakes would cause a wipe in 10 man. It's good thing you've got 24 other people to pick up the slack. Seriously, what was your healing contribution on the meter at the end of this fight?

Also, on that basis - the other fights are only 5 minute videos, because the fights are 5 minutes. The length of the videos are not set on how much the author wants to speak, or how complicated the tactics - but the actual length of the video plus introduction.

I should have been clearer on my point. Their videos dont need to be as long as they are. NONE of them do. Tankspot doesn't do a good job of syncing their encounter explanations with the video as it plays. If you're going to show an entire boss fight in real time, then explain exactly what is happening in that fight AS it is being shown. OR edit the fight down to only show the important parts.

It's also important that healers are well protected, because the more stacks they have, the more damage they take, after 20 stacks, they can easily get one-shotted, and its best to pop heroism when she is healed approximately 75% also its important for the healers going in to keep going in and not miss any clouds, or else they lose ALL of their stacks, plus iceblock/divine shield will cause all stacks to disapear, so don't use them

Tankspot fucking sucks dildo. I READ all the strats on a cheesy website and easily got the strats down first try. You don't need these shitty videos to learn the strats. And Tankspot plays the dumbest fucking music during their videos,
This chick shows us the fight from HER perspective a healing perspective, way the fuck up camera panned way out. This fight is entirely an add fight, all the healers have to do is HEAL well. She doesn't show us anything up close regarding add control.

@Rushthatspeaks Believe it or not, dumbass, your DPS role is not the only role in the game. As a healer, I found this a hell of a lot more helpful than the other 10-man video, which shows it from a DPS perspective.
If you do not like Tankspot, don't search up their videos and comment on them. Tankspot is generally regarded as one of the best guide sites to learn from.
As a healer, you could argue that in any encounter all us healers have to do is "heal well". But there is more to it than that.

You're right but Tankspot doesn't ever show dps perspective. and this fight is primarily dps. But don't you worry I won't ever watch another Tankspot video save responding to you here. I'll go to Wowhead. Tankspot videos are just egotistical players who like to hear themselves talk. Also the fucking music sucks on their videos. New age crap music is distracting. @pecopeco009 Heals end the encounter, dps/tanks prevent it from wiping. So it isn't a lot to ask to heal right. The real action is going on with the adds coming in great waves. If dps isn't constantly on the right target=wipe. You cant just sit there dps-ing one thing if a worse add is out. If you sit there like a moron on an Abom when there is a skeleton out, you're fucked.

And if you want DPS perspective then watch Blood Queen 25 and Valithra 10 their from a ret pallys perspective, and lastly this fight barely requires any strat at all... whats there to learn? other than the kill order and the dream world which only effects you if your a healer lol

@WoWhistorian Man i just wanna say, if you're a good player, you know the difference between a really good healer and a bad one, it's easy to heal, but it's hard to heal well and efficiently. I find this video very interesting although i'm a dps, it's gives a very complete description of the fight.
