  • i can see you like silent films James.

  • Buster Keaton pwns Charlie Chaplin. Sepia tone rules (when applied properly like this).

  • hot damn that was funny as hell.

  • Dude, that was good. And the shot where he jumps off that thing, and there's that huge flock of birds overhead is so cool!

  • that was absolutly awesome! i think silent comedys are way better than regular movies there funnier just watching

  • I really liked this silent film, it fits just about every silent film characteristic! I just suggest that they dress next time with a more silent film" attire... but still, I really loved the slide chase!

  • I really felt I was watching an old silent movie at times.

  • Yeah, I almost felt that way myself, except for the cap and the other dude's hairstyle and sunglasses.

  • lol

  • Was....that...the VET? Excuse me, I think there's something in my eye...

  • At 1:35 I thought that utilizing the flock of birds in the background with he character jumping down was pretty cool.

  • lol the guy's name is really ryan panis?

  • lol this was pretty funny :D

  • I read on his site that when filming, he dropped the camera and had to pay with whatever money he could scrap up.

  • Lol.

  • nice!

  • this is coolll

  • Nice work James. It's a breath of fresh air to see you make comedic films rather then horror ones.

  • ok, that was good

  • That one was really good!

  • Ah they don't make any of this kind anymore.Bravo and well done

  • Heh, what did it say at the back of the first guy's cap? "Damn rules"?

  • Sorry to say this, but I didn't find this clip funny at all, actually a bit disappointing. I guess that it could be improved by better camera work, better light and better scenery. Once again, sorry for not liking this short film, but I really didn't feel that it did justice to silent comic films...

  • Bravo!!!

  • That was funny as hell.

  • 1:01-1:10 was great

  • lol

  • that was great!

    whats the music???

  • J'aime vraiment bien !!

  • awesome

  • Nice job, I got quite a laugh from it.

  • what song????? i need to know??????

  • lol very nice. Silent comedies were always gold. I still like some old comedies and even watch some at time to time.

  • I remember this!!! Oh wow... good times indeed.

  • Only thing that would have made this better.. Is the excessive make-up that they HAD to use with black & white films.

  • Cool

  • Classic, Mac.

  • What do you call that song? I've heard it so many times, but I don't know the name of it.

    Help me :)

  • me to xD tell me if you find out.

  • It is called Saber Dance...

    That's all I know ;P

  • The "Sabre Dance" from Gayane =)

  • Excellent video.

I particularly like the filming style.

A good tribute to the silent films.

  • LOL

  • Nice!

    What does 16mm mean?

  • It's the size of the film

  • It's a good video but I think the humour in this was lost on me. Good work though James.

  • Haha. Awesome!

  • So...a guy just wants to know the time...and another guy is a jerk about it. But as jerk is leaving, his wallet falls out of his pants. Innocent guy picks it up and contemplates stealing the guys money...? Because he didn't get the time from him?

Maybe I just put too much stock in humanity.

I am unfamiliar with actual film usage...do you have to cut the strips, LITERALLY and tape them together to cut a scene?

Interesting style choice. The music, a little clinche. But, that was the idea.

  • hahah cool

  • wow, great as usual.

  • haha

  • old school style )))) I like that

  • Excellent. That music seems to work with everything.

  • this reminds of those charlie chaplin movies.

    nice job

  • You should have dressed the actors up in 1920's clothing. That would cost alot of $ , but it would be hilarious.
