  • it must not have been too corrupted to start up, but over a few minutes time the small corruption got magnified after many read/writes and or calculations in the portions of RAM used for video output.

  • if u had a bad ram your computer wont even load the bios...

then how is this a ram problem?

  • Holy shit!!! how'd you get more than one program running on your computer?!?!?

    Unthinkable with mine.

  • XD my dad change the ram and it did like that XD

  • try to turn off aero

  • oh my god do i have to buy new ram .. this is happen to me when play games and sometimes the pc freezes.. they will kill me if they see this

  • Not bad Ram, but an artifacting Graphics Card. Replace the Graphics card, or contact manufacturer of Graphics card and ask for a replacement. If your computer was purchased from Dell or HP, then contact them first, assuming if it is still under warranty.

  • oMG my parents would kill me if that happened to me

  • @FightVideosAllDay

nope, i was monitoring the temps on everything

  • Virus. Easy as that you need a fire wall

  • CRASHING KABOEM! XD

  • i am 95% sure that its your graphic card that has faild. for you and every one else the best is if you remove the fan on the graphics then set your oven on 120C and put the card in there for about 15min then shut down the oven and let the card rest inside for another 15min. before you do this you must clean the graphic card from the coolingpaste. when you take out the card clean it again and put on some new paste, attach the fan and instal in your pc. let me know if that worked. have a good day

  • @veca2008 do i have to add any salt or pepper?

  • @veca2008 thanks for your input, but I replaced the GPU first and and it still did this on the brand new one....and now i am still using the same GPU 2 years later and it still works fine.

  • @veca2008 hey ..what do u mean by (oven) is it the heating sink

  • @veca2008 What you are referring to is a technique called "re-flowing." It re-melts the solder and hopefully re-flows it into the correct spot. This is only a temporary fix because in about a week or two, the problem will once again arise, and you will be screwed.

  • @veca2008 are u kiddin!!!!?

  • wouldnt this be a video card or monitor problem? the first thing that comes to mind when i hear ram problem is bsod and that's not what i see here.

  • @jester3454

that is what i thought at first too

  • @Daveck86 So, have you checked the RAM? Replaced it? Ran memtest on it? I'm having a problem with a desktop I just assembled, it occasionally freezes up. I ran memtest, even though I didn't think it was the RAM, and the test says it has no problems with RAM really. I don't know if I just buy video card and disable the onboard, or try to get a replacement... It's not my top computer, so I didn't want to spend time/money on it too much anyway...

  • lol i admit i hav bad ram.. ..and i experience major crashes , system hang and bsod..

but i nver encounter a problem such as this. ...

  • WTF

    if I have this computer

    I was broke it

  • @GamersMT2

    same here budd..

  • sow hats it mean when your display flashes black over and over again, when you play a game, or folders open slow, and my screen tears when I scroll down webpages...I have a nice PC, I dont feel like posting specs but I can usually play Crysis 2 maxed out in 3D, with zero lag, now I can barely open folders, and play any game, replaced every piece of hardware, besides CPU, and formatted HD, using White Canyon, and DoD setting, updated drivers, like 3 times, virus scanned, defragged. nothing works

  • SAME HERE BUT MINE IS DISPLAY DRIVER STILL LOOKING FOR FIXES! HELP ANYONE??????

  • : O im speachless how do is get that bad?

  • i bet you watched The Ring before you made this video

  • gpu

  • Omg it was raining..

  • the ram is only half of the problem, this could also mean the hard drive is getting ready to die

  • I recently had a problem with my pc here it started to get lots of blue screens so i recovered it. hen i ent into recovery the screen was covered in like small grey lines.. i tried changing resolution and idont see how it could be from my ram - 3.00 GB + 512 MB video card.could it be ive broken something?

  • oops I meant LCD Screen lol

  • It happened to my but it couldnt boot. The problem was the RAM. It happened when i inserted another 1GB RAM. But the width of them isnt the same so this happens

  • My Toshiba Satellite laptop lsd screen is acting funny had it for about 2 years what should i do?

  • @Boricuaso77789 lsd...

  • @Boricuaso77789 wut?

  • @Boricuaso77789 don't laugh at his jokes, he may stop trying to act funny.

  • @WilliamAztech Thanks you really helped me out! Dam mexican

  • @Boricuaso77789 you're welcome.

  • Damn that looks completely fucked up

  • Hmm. This is happening to me too, just that my ram bricks is all new, so idk whats wrong, its annoying coz i cant play any games..

  • @noobsterxD :

please try another kind of RAM. if the problem is not fixed then, change the Motherboard.

if the problem is not fixed then, change the Videocard.

  • @elmomz Im happy i didnt try changing ram or motherboard first, cause when i got a better gpu it all worked perfectly again..

  • @noobsterxD:

The order in which you change the hardware parts isn´t important.

But then, your problem was different than the one in this video here...

  • @elmomz:

and btw, which vga do you use?

  • looks gorgeous! sometimes i enjoy overclocking my ram just to see my computer doing crap like that

  • It's a video card issue, not the ram!

  • Now this is Aero Glass! In fact, it's Aero Wet Glass. Lol

  • this type of errors occurs when video memory are in bad conditions; so if the video ram is dedicated (and placed in video card) you have to change the video card, or if it is shared memory (graphic card doesn't have dedicated memory) the graphics are saved at main ram of computer and that was causing the problem.

before you change pieces of your computers, you must know what kind of hardware you have ;) (not only for this case, but for future problems)

  • vista suck!

  • @AztShigsta

This is really annoying the lines appear on my screen also after boot and then then it freezes. Only option is to reset or hold power buttion to switch off. Not sure if it is bad ram or video. Anyone got a solution because I can't get even install an operating system beacuse it freezes at windows is loading files.

  • @Aexification Hey, I got a replacement of my Graphics card and I was able to fix the problem, now my system is running properly and I haven't seen the corruption since the day I installed my new graphics card.

  • @AznShigsta

Hey I fixed the problem about 2 months ago lol. No the problem was faulty RAM which caused display. Just got a replacement and have had no problems since then.

  • I have similar problem, I thought I fixed it by getting better RAM since it was gone after that, but today the corruption happened again(my screen goes like the video and I can't move the cursor or anything). This happened while I was playing a game on the computer, does this mean like the graphics card is bad? Nvidia GeForce 9800GTX+, my system is good enough to support it.

  • @AznShigsta videocard is shot

  • @AznShigsta

Most likely bad ram. As this has happened to me before.

  • i dont think ram would do that to your pc.. only a bad video card.

  • my old 9800 gx2 used to do that... 2 weeks later it died while playing crysis ^^

  • I was just on and my computer went all like bright 8 bit colours, white lines starting racing down and my speakers made a loud humming noise.. anyone know what that is?

  • video car overheating.

  • this is definitely Video Card problem.

if you RAM has a problem your PC Wont Boot or always Restart Itself.

  • Its your video card driver i had this problem today and i resolved by instaling the newest videocard driver

  • Deff not your ram....LMAO

  • THATS UR GRAFICS CARD LOL NOT UR RAM

  • those are ram problems my friend had the same thing going on on his pc or try changing the processor prob its not that compatible with the motherboard

  • I have a similiar problem but its blurry lines down the screen like 8 to 12 lines vertical andthere blurry its like there blocking the back of my screen or something, my pc only works in safe mode, whats up with that? thnx if u msg back

  • The only thing i can suggest is to try swapping the ram or video card with similar ones that you know are good to narrow down the problem.

  • ive tried that alrdy it only works with my old gcard for sum reason but it goes in safe mode with them lines

  • @coltshadow12 It's either bad ram or bad graphics card (not the right one or unsupported.)

  • @coltshadow12

    8 months ago... xD

you pc was having hardware failure like my pc have now...

  • err stfu? it's a ram problem

  • HOLEY SHIT SON!

  • holy shit thats a bad pc u got ther

  • vista is 2 good 4 ur ram
