  • I dont know much about Kung-Fu (except to watch it) but this Wilson Wu guy's name gets thrown around a bit, is he like the next Bruce Lee or something?

  • Excellent bung bo kuen;

    fluent, accurate, powerful.

    Five points.

    Greetings from Cologne/Germany

  • coolest performance I've ever seen!

  • oh you misunderstand me i was only stating that there was 102 forms i didnt say you have to master them to be good the forms are only to broaden you arsenal of kung fu and build your imagination when fighting

  • you are right.

  • In 7 star praying mantis there are 102 forms

  • Actually there is no need to learn the 102 forms. You only need to master the principles, techniques, and abilities and the understand the core of the style. You just need to pick up the important forms and practice them. The forms are just the different combos of the different techniques.

  • Please tell me what are the key forms, the ones you MUST know.I've practiced Eagle Claw and it has a lot of sets but you don't have to learn all of them to be considered a sifu.

  • Sorry, I don't practice Eagle Claw, so I don't know the key forms in that style. but i believe how to learn the froms is much important than how many you learn the forms. practicing forms is just part of the bridge to master kungfu.

  • @harkying99 i'm certainly not an expert but in my opinion the essential forms of Seven Star Praying Mantis Kung Fu are: BungBu, LanJie, BaZhou, ZhaiYao. hope this helps :)

  • Bung Bu at lightening speed

  • Incredible form, I love seeing the differences between 7-star and tai chi mantis

  • Amazing !! Great Form!!

  • Quick & precise movements. Just Excellent!

  • northern mantis should move fast anyways

  • now thats a real mantis O_O

  • yay, im as fast as that guy, not nearly as solid or fluid, but a few more years training,.... good job wilson wu.

  • There we go. Just because it's traditional, doesn't mean it has to be slow.

  • That was the best traditional 7 star movement that I have seen.

  • Damn!! That was FAST!

  • Very very good - greetings from germany

  • excellent demonstration! keeping traditional wushu alive! 5 stars from masteringwushu . com

  • Nice performance!

  • great footwork, I couldn't do this version of mantis really fast though

  • same version i think but he had a good flowing motion

  • this is the version i know but i cant do it as well or fast though (of course)

  • holy expletive! his hands move so fast...

all i can do is a slow, clumsy version of sixteen hands... glad to know i've got a lotta trainin' to do!

  • Wow. I really like this. I've been learning from a book. It's really difficult, but I see that I'm on the right track, definitely. The one I have is a slightly different interpretation. Good stuff, though. :D

  • Truely. From what my sifu and others have said that all the basics of praying mantis boxing can be found in bung bo. I'm still a bit too stiff and 'stop and go' with mine.

  • first traditional one with real speed ! nice ;-)

  • Fast, clear, smooth.

  • this is fierce

  • best one i have seen. Many people can perform it fast but without power or powerful but slow. this guy know how to train the power and speed in mantis style.

  • excellent footwork.

  • Good, good, good.

  • whoah!!!!

    did i blink???

  • Great, that was really nice to see. Thank you for sharing it.

  • Hey how many forms does 7 star mantis have and is there a dagger form in 7 star?

  • I think there are over 75 forms in varieties of single, two-person, and weapons.

  • Hm, none i've heard of. There are sabre, halberd, spear, and sword forms though...

  • my old school taught double dagger

  • i believe there are 102 forms in seven star im a practitioner in the system and yes there is a dagger form

  • thats fast. and hes asian

  • Very cool.

  • Impressive performance of bung bo!

  • this is the 7-star praymanis' characters: quick,crisp, hard(快,脆,剛)

  • Wow!!!!

    Very good

  • wow he's done already? that was nice

  • That was outstanding!

  • Now, that is how " Bung Bo " should be done!!
