Ah the Vectrex. A name i've heard a thousand times thanks to mark from classic game room. I couldn't be any less interested in such an outdated trinket Although I do find the idea of it being a game and a television set interesting. Perhaps that idea will come around again.
I had the chance to buy one of these in 1984 for $79 thanks to the market crash. I wish I had, seeing as how these things now fetch a fairly decent amount of cash today. But like an idiot, I didn't want one only because they'd already been discontinued.
if they MB games had enough money to buy a license for Atari Tempest of Atari Star-Wars (some of the best vector arcade games) then maybe this system would of done twice as much in sales.
I'm sorry but that is just bdass.. Those vector graphics are so sharp they'll have your eye out!! Definetely a machine I aim to own one day, probably the next console I'll spunk my dough on, that or a PC Engine..
@wildsmiley It's weird. Glad I collected in the mid-late 2000s. Things are way more expensive now. Have a Golden Axe Warrior I got for 15$ in July 2009... it was worth 55$ then, probably 100$ now.
@whattheheck1000 OOH yeah. I bought my Atari 2600 w/ joysticks, paddles and I think 10 games for $40 on eBay in 2008. Now, in 2011 the same kind of bundle is typically going for $65 and upwards.
I think the video game crash, poor sales, and lack of third party support killed this system....and it's too bad, it's one of my favourite retro systems which had some promise back in the day....
Wow, never seen this one. Nice that you had a fairly good quality to it as well, better than seeing the horrible other one that several people had put up. I've yet to see a clearer version of that one!
Fantastic!

@beanisawsome1 I have one I got in 2007... it was about 120$. If you want one, you can get one fairly easily if you look in the right places.

I saw one at a game shop, I wanted to buy it (even with the limited amount of money I have) but a store employee had already bought it for himself.
