I like Amaury Vassili's beautiful voice. He's easy on the eyes, too. But Elgar's patriotic anthem, "Land of Hope and Glory" off a skyscraper in New York is a bit like "The Stars and Stripes Forever" being sung from a perch on the Big Ben. Yay for the New Globalism, I guess, and an inspiring song has no borders, but part of me is cringing a little. Keep singing, Vassili!
