I just saw tekkonkinkreet recently and fell completely in love with it! I'm also a long time and very devoted Gorillaz fan, so this is pure perfection to me! I'm so glad you did two of my favorite things total justice
@nights1515 Awesome me to October 22nd for me in Austin Texas. I'm a little worried I still haven't gotten my ticket in the mail yet. I'm excited since this is kind of a once in a lifetime thing when does Gorillaz ever come to US ! October can't come soon enough.
at first the squished frame bothered me, but then i realized that it gives the familiar images a distorted and [un?]intentionally dark quality, which i think reflects the entire movie quite nicely.
never hear the song before, but im glad i have now ^w^ ill be coming back to this...
