  • this is the best slider place i have ever eaten at, so sloppy yet sooooo good!

  • WM in Hackensack is better than the one in JC. Always packed with limited space so not a bad idea to get a pick up if its too crowded.

  • I used to go there back in the 80s before Rocky Horror (I was in the Cedar Lane cast). I took my wife there this spring. Same burgers, same great taste. My wife is not a burger person, but she ate three! If you're near Hackensack, just go. You'll be glad you did.

  • does anyone know the name brand of the pickles do they us?

  • Looks good, but they stole the idea from White Castle!!!!!!

  • So delicious...

  • Such solemn music, lmao.

  • The Iceman once hid a dead body in a sealed oil drum behind the White Manna.

  • @divinejudge1 that is not true

  • @divinejudge1

That wasn't White Manna, it was Harry's Corner, in Teterboro. Great place for chili dogs, used to go there back then, I remember the drums. That was creepy thing to hear about.

  • @Rob07601 Yeah and then it became Bubba's Place and now its a Brick Oven Pizza joint.

  • I lived in Jersey for 5 years, before I saw this place on the food network, the burgers are delicious

  • If you have to go to the electric chair, make White Manna your last meal. Besides being the best burgers, think of the mess you will leave behind for them clean-up afterward!!

  • The Jersey City White Man(n)a is not even close to the Hackensack establishment.

  • Dude, thank God you can have that argument. Out here in NEPA, nothing comes close to either one. But if I had to choose your right. Hackensack over JC.

  • are you saying that in taste they arent close cause I find JC's mana a lot better

  • I'm from California and was just in NJ and my friend, Michael, took me here for hamburgers...They are without a doubt the best in the world. All I can say is GO GO GO if you ever get a chance.

  • my mouth is watering for one of these burgas right now... if only they were open at this hour! looks like i know what i'm doing for lunch tomorrow!

  • There is a White Manna on Rt. 1/9 in Jersey City Open 24.....

Been there at 3 in the morning...

    Greatest Burgers no doubt!

  • yup

  • owned by my cousin, awesome burgers.

  • Do they ship to Ohio???!!!

  • i went there many many times....The best burger ever....!

  • White manna was in Wierd New Jersey.

  • I'm assuming from the 5150 you're from Cali. I'm from Jersey and live in Cali now. No way Jersey is more WIERD than California. Sorry. White Manna is the shit. Way better than In N' Out. Period.

  • No there is a book called "Wierd New Jersey" and has all these wierd shit that has happened here.

  • When I lived in Manhattan in the early 90's I used to take a bus out to Hackensack just for a White Manna fix...mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm

  • There is a White Mana in Jersey City (note spelling):

Both establishments are now operated independently of each other and indeed have different owners but they were both founded by Louis Bridges back in 1946.

The Jersey city location lost one "n" in its name when a sign maker made a mistake. The name stuck.

  • All the frikin' years I never noticed that. Ah, who cares! LUV EM' Both! Out here in PA there's one old guy has a dog n' burger joint in Tamaqua. He'll build it like a Manna if you ask. It's good, but just makes you jones for a Manna (no potato roll). Two hour drive but worth it for the real thing.

  • how many white manna's are there? just one?

  • I want to go here very badly... This and Rutt's Hutt in one day.

  • just had 8 doubles 8 singles

  • beautiful!

  • i bet its really good cuz diners drive ins and dines visited there!

  • I was starving after work today and one of my buddies said something about White Manna and I had to go. 8 burgers and an order of fries later I am a happy full man.

  • u cant beat white manna...its just not possible...ITS SO GOOD!

  • Would never eat it. No gloves by the staff, huh?

  • Actually I was there today for dinner and they were wearing gloves...maybe they saw your comment LOL.

But its a great place you'd love the burgers.

  • It's about time. I haven't been in years and it always skeeved me when I saw their hands touching the food.

  • best food i love eatin it

  • i Actually know the owner's sons, one of them works ther, he is a good friend of mine

  • i actoualy know the owner' kids, he is a good friend of mine

  • great food, but bring a change of clothes if you are going out afterwards. my friends and i hit this place for lunch back when we were in high school. people complained ALL afternoon that we reeked of onions. :)

  • Going to White Manna is a life changing experience.

    White Manna >>>> White Castle

  • By far, one of the ugliest burgers ever, but nonetheless Dee-Lish-Us! 4-6 burgers per sitting is the norm for most, and at only about 85-95 cents each (as I remember...it's been a couple of years since I left my job in Hackensack), it's a bargain.

Be forwarned.....after lunch there, everything will reek of the burgers. Your clothes, your car, your hair, I mean everything.

  • my firts job in Hackensack white manna. thank Ronny

  • If I ever needed a reason to make a road trip, this is it..

  • on the seventh day god made white manna

  • i could really go for one of those right now!

  • a good white manna burger is made with love

  • God, I love White Manna
