Thus we have The Jungle Book set in India, Aladdin set in Arabia, Beauty and the Beast set in France, and so forth. Also I am fairly certain Dumbo, Bambi, and Lady and the Tramp - all of which predate 101 Dalmatians - are all set in the United states. So there was never a predominate country for settings, no.
