Do you use any pre-shave? Or just the shaving cream/soap? I am going to keep trying to straight shave my head to see if I can get better at it. How often do you shave it? Mine was a little long in the last video, so it wasn't easy to shave... Thanks!

About 2 times/week.
Mainly using a straight & sometimes a vintage Gillette NEW.
I only use soaps or creams. Nothing else.
I have a rotation of ~5 products I really like. Tabac, Speick & Palmolive soaps & Palmolive & Dr Harris creams.
I experiment quite a lot with different edges & I donät want to make the lather a part of the equation.
With a good lather I have never found the need for a pre-shave actually.
