  • I'm glad to see so many people enjoy this song, and this record. i added a quote from Eno to the description, where he talks about his inspiration for "The Belldog"

  • Excellent album!

  • Excellent track - more desert landscape than Xmas for me, but great nonetheless

  • Totally awesome track I first heard on John Peel at the end of 1978 then I finally picked the LP up in 1980. Still the most accessable track on the LP but nonetheless Eno's voice is deliciously mixed with the Cluster duo's atmospherics. Try listening to this around Xmas time or perhaps when looking out at a snowy backdrop. No Xmas, no snow? Just close your eyes and imagine Alpine ski slopes, jingle bells and carol singers. You'll get the picture.

  • I listened to this all the time in Iraq, sitting in a watch tower at night, over-looking the desert.
