  • 2:28-2:31 i would have jizzed my pants.

  • Godddd, Ewan makes my toes curl. The things I would do to that man given the chance...

  • Too bad there is not a cast recording or a DVD treatment for this amazing revival. Loved it, one of the best shows I ever saw in the West End.

  • To take a musical that is very American with a mostly non-American cast and creative team and perform it so brilliantly just speaks to the caliber of talent of all those involved. I hate each and every person that got the opportunity to see this. :-P I know it's been five years, but if there's any chance for this to come to Broadway, I would be the first on line for tickets! :)

  • this would have been one of the best casts to see! So bummed I never got down to London to do so.

  • I wish I could have seen Ewan perform in this! He is so talented!

  • I miss working with all of these guys....I didnt realise back thhen but working with these guys on this production was so much fun. Ewan used to ride his motorcycle to work every night to avoid the crowds....it was classic as he always left through a small alley on his bike and the autograph seeker would miss him every time. ha ha ha

  • This has always been one of my all-time favorite musicals. Bet it was a great show.

  • What's funny is the local community theater is doing this and my English teacher is a dancer in the bushel and a peck....

I'm going to see it, because I can't imagine my English teacher doing it myself.

  • wow ewan mcgregor in guys and dolls neat!!! i frecked out when i read Ewan was Sky i love sky.

my school is doing this play.

  • .... I don't think theyre the original cast... or dos it mean like the first london cast to do guys and dolls...?

    But they sound awesome anyway!

  • yah, that confused me too. this musical is from the 40's, did it really take 60 years to get it to london?

  • It's not the first London production, just the latest. It was bloody great.

  • @Coryashire the musical opened in 1953 on Broadway and the London production opened in 1955. Later revivals in London have been in 1982 with Bob Hoskins and Julia McKenzie; 1985 transfer with Imelda Staunton; 1996 with Imelda Staunton and Henry Goodman; and most recently 2005 with Douglas Hodge etc. On Broadway revivals have appeared in 1976 featuring an all-black cast and in 1992 featuring Nathan Lane and Faith Prince as well as a less successful revival in 2009.
