I've been having some problems with this board not utilizing all of my memory.

It's 4GB of DDR3. I've flashed to the latest BIOS and tried just about everything.

Can't get it to work, please help?

He states that there is no north bridge, Someone been smoking too much. It does not have a north bridge on the motherboard its on the cpu.

lol, well I'm not claiming that P55 is X58.

I was just confused at the time, some people have a hard time keeping track of what socket supports what type of ram, and how much ram, and how many DIMM's each socket has, and if it accepts DDR3 or DDR2, or Triple Channel or Dual Channel.

you must undertsand that sometimes there is a bit of confussion, but it doesn't make you a moron, it just means you have a hard time keeping track of it all.

I have a CMOS problem with my Asus board. It's a Crosshair Formula II, Worked great until just recently when it would boot but no video through on-board but when I take out the battery and reset the CMOS is would come up, then if I restart or shut down and power up it would go back to now displaying until I re-clear the CMOS.

Also it has a problem reading the ram, I have two Corsair Devastator sticks of 2gig DDR2 and it reads 1056 MB instead of the 3 Vista should allow.

You mean flashing? I haven't yet. Does this sound like a upgraded bios problem to you? It happened gradually over time and I did not notice any updates for the board as a pop up in the OS. Usually Vista has fifteen popups telling me something is ready and wants me to hold its hand

Wtf no wrong it's "dual", nothing wrong with Dual it's still high performance DDR3 with lots of OC room on 16+3 for mem phase board. Hopefully Intel sticks to 1366 boards from now on though. I want to see more high end and price drops from intel but AMD eh still waiting for them to do tripple channel and be neck an neck with the latest I7. AMD is a much better buy when it comes to price though. $245 for a 965EE.
