dudeas i was listening to the music and seeing all that work done the picture of you giving money from your pocket endless times in fast forward motion came in mind, it must have cost you a bazillion pounds
If I told you what I spent on mine you would have me committed to a mental hospital. But I guess it is like that with us gearheads, whether we own a '29 Deusenberg, a '71 Malibu SS 396, an MGA 1600 MkII, a '58 Isetta,on and on. This is not something rational. We love our wheels, that's the deal.
Great video! I bought one of these (Same year) in '63 with very low mileage. I lived in England of course. I did many miles in it and eventually replaced the engine with an 1800 MGB engine. A great classic car.
Because all world currencies are private (FED BCE)and are taken for rent by the states, then why dream of making money (colored paper) when you know it will never be yours?
you could find any info for restoring an MGA on the site mgaguru...search on the web...
I worked about six, mounth(every day),was not so difficult cause in Sicily the ambiance was GREAT and people very kindly,...and about the cost...believe me:I never made the sum,...but money serve 4 become dreams reality, and this car was my dream from ever;D
Nice work. This will help folks understand how it can take 1,500 hours to restore their classic. My A was a blast to restore. Now I just wish I could squeeze in the Healey resto.
the list of tags in this is freakishly long!

Technically, that car is an "antique," not a classic.

How long, how difficult, and how much did this restoration cost you? How were you able to replace rotting fuel and brake lines?
