This is a pro tip to anyone who experiences lag: Do control + alt + del. (Or just find some way to get into task manager.) Find OECake (it will be probably using all of your CPU cycles.) Right click on the exe, click on set affinity and check off some of your processors. If you have a single-core processor, you're stuck with the lag.

This doesn't work. get yourself Utorrent, hit the pirate bay and get a torrent. The OE cake 1.1.2b one on there only has 50 odd seeds, but I dl'd it in less than 10 mins. Also, the piratebay version doesn't expire, so have fun!
