yeah i will admit we have japanese wannabes, who are obsessed with the "cute" culture of japan. but you will not see a bunch of americans taking an entire japanese subculture and copying it piece by piece. this is from 1950's America, they took the hair, the fashion, the music, and the dance. Its almost expected of japanese youth to copy western styles. there's only a tiny subculture of japanese wannabe's here in america. go to harajuku and you tell me how original they are.

@Takeitoff08 Woah woah woah, I gotta step in. This is cute and I support their fun but this is in no way what 1950s America was really like in look or feel. What you see here is an exaggeration of mid 1960s hair and clothing, mixed with 1980s country line dancing and throwback rockabilly music that wasn't made in the 50s and doesn't actually sound 50s. It's all verrrrry confused and jumbled. Pompadours are too big, way too much leather, dancing is wrong and biggest error is NO CHICKS.

The average japanese guy has a closet with almost every genre of fashion from rockabilly to burberry. They change their style according to thier mood and even sometimes mix and match.
