How are the uploaded images stored? Are they recorded in the files table? Does it take into account upload limits? Would it therefore be possible to extend the module to allow reinserting previously uploaded images?
awesome module, thanks, How do you are able to rezize the image with the handlers? I tried with the CK editor but I´m not able to do so. the rest works ok, but the rezize won´t work , can you give me a hint? thanks again
@saltatv That must be a Editor dependent feature, has nothing to do with the module. The resizing is possible in TinyMCE for instance. The resizing however is just changing the width and height parameters of the image, which can have its consequences in quality and speed optimization. Better is to work with the preset sizes.
Does this work for YUI editor? actually YUI editor is supposed to have an upload box without needing to install this module, however i cant make it appear. Can somebody please help me?
can u give a step by step instruction how to install something that lets u upload an image from the COMPUTER "DIRECTLY" to the text editor without uploading to server first? that and can u show exactly what modules u installed from scratch??? thanks.
@naughtychachito images have to be saved on the server (or on the web somewhere) so that they can be seen by other people on the internet. also, considering imagechace is a dependency, that kind of functionality would be outside the control of this module anyway.
unless i've misunderstood what you're asking, what you're asking cannot be done, sorry.
hey, for the life of me i cant seem to find a module that uploads a picture automatically from the COMPUTER directly towards a text editor like FCKeditor embedded in WYSIWYG... what modules did u use and can u show how to install trhem?
@maYerxored Yeah - I just have the CKEditor mod installed, For some reason I cant get any editor to work with the WYSIWG mod, That must be the reason.
First of all, great module, I really like the simplicity of the user interface! I just have one question. I am looking for something exactly like this but also with an option to browse the server and insert an image which has already been uploaded before. Is it possible to that with this module?
Hello, this is planned and under development. Its not very hard to implement this, all the backend things needed for that feature are allready in place.
Look in the module issue queue - there is a feature request for that
While there are quiet a number of image-upload-tools for drupal, this module present a (in my eyes) easier way, to embed images in (inline) your richtext editor.
The most important feature is, that it is not editor specific and should work with all comman editors like tinymce, fckeditor, yui. Actualy every editor supported in the WYSIWYG module is supported by this module.
The main goals are fast inserting of modules, while being very easy to use - so also for beginners.

this doesn't work for CKEditor? :(
Even though you say it does "upports a lot of editors like TinyMCE, FCKeditor, CKeditor " ??
stingermann 1 year ago
It does work with the CKeditor, and also with the other 2. I have confirmed them all and up and running in my intallation.
This is no issue queue, please use drupal vor that

Ok, got it to work! Make sure you use CKEdtior with the WYSIWG mod not the CKEditor mod by itself!

I installed CKeditor , can I uninstall it and install WYSIWYG. What is best. I don't satisfy with CKeditor.

Well finally the Image Browser got integrated. Just have a look at the module project page, its included from rc4
maYerxored 1 year ago
Awesome! I'd also like to know what module makes the tabs.
VoiceFM987 2 years ago
This tabs are build in 2 steps:
1. Using the project Tabs
2. A custom implementation of cck_fieldgroup_tabs
That custom implementation is not released yet.

Not released yet ... what's the ETA?

Great!
What is the name of the module that creates the horizontal tabs?
matthijsgaasbeek 2 years ago
Looks great.. Thanks

You should make it so that each image creates a node... Otherwise it's nigh impossible for the images themselves to be organized.
