This is really nice. I love the Earth. And we really need to do something for everything what happend in the Earth. For bad things. Peace, Love, Merciful,Gratitude, Everything.
Everyone becareful the toxic chemicals rise to the surface of the water in the gulf evaporate into the air and carried with wind rain and dumped on land. Becareful about eating your fruits and veggies cuz DOLE cuts OFF the celery leaves on the stalks that are burnt! I live in IL and my plants, trees, flowers have burnt black leaves, black burnt holes, white corrosion some leaves on the trees have fallen off already it looks like fall here
Nope, I don't think you're right. Vast majority of the scientist that have done any research on this subject have agreed that human effect (burning fossil fuels, creating greenhouse gases, which of CO2 is only one) is having an increasingly bad effect on enviroment, and the climate change caused by that very fossil fuel burning might tip the scales so much that the effect would become self-sustaining and irreversible.
What vast majority? Show me a list of names of scientists who support your hypothesis and I will show you a longer list of scientists that don't.
Why do you blatantly ignore the argument of sceptics, especially considering that skepticism is the most catalysing tool for scientific accuracy?
CO2 is a TRACE GAS taking up 0.0004% of the atmosphere. It is absurd to assert that it has any effect whatsoever on climate or temperatures, unless it has an impossible absorption rate.
I try not to blatantly ignore anything. But I will say that I am unable to produce such a list. But indeed so are you.
Seems like neither of us can bring any facts into the discussion.
Well, except this:
Be global warming a hoax or not, do you think that it is worth the risk to continue polluting like we do now and not seek ways to a cleaner energy source? Is it worth the risk to ignore the warnings and just see what happens?
The risk of not acting is the end of the world as we know it. That means it will change somehow, maybe drastically. That means financial AND ecological crisis.
The risk of acting is that a lot of money will have been used for no reason. The risk is only financial.
I can see why some people would cry after watching this video, it is very beautiful. I just don't understand why other environmentalists don't comment about mountains. Recent expeditions by amateur climbers are destroying some of the most beautiful and untamed mountain landscapes out there!
Amazing vid. The sheer beauty of the world around us astounds me every day, yet so many people miss it. If we are to have any chance of preseving this elegence and power for future generations then we must act NOW, my parents have had solar panels installed and they work a treat, they supply most of our hot water and I think can heat our house. Now we're thinking of getting a wind turbine for the garden, but honestly, i would reccomened them.
Save the world and ban the oil! We need to drive electric cars and choose for power of the sun! Look for CSP Concentrated Solar Power! Its the best solution and most effective to find against global warming. Enough power for the world and lower energie price! Stop the finance of terrorism with oilmoney!
Saw the link on caedes, this is amazing, a great editing and good soundtrack, you've succeed in every aspects to show the beauty of our planet and to give the right message, also giving thanks to all those wonderful photographers,
You should buy or rent the complete series, "planet earth" ASAP. I also got subscribe to the suggestions outlined in "An Inconvenient Truth" and below. I just wish Al Gore would in his personal life. Yeah, I got the E-mail about his wasteful home . . . I hate hypocrisy at all levels.
So true, so true. I try to live that which I preach, but I admit, I could give up more, it is just that I don't want to. That is exactly why we need renewed power sources that do not pollute so much.
This goal is easier to achieve than demanding cut back on energy usage. That would be like giving a child a new toy, then trying to get it back by asking - not gonna happend. =)
WOW it looked amazing and the way you timed the music with the photo's was FANTASTIC! i hope people take notice!
not gonna lie though I really feel the pics at 3:52 and 5:13..oh wait they were mine lol ;) woots i made it to youtube somewho after all and in a good way!

omfg Climate change? Moar Liek Blatant Shit. Amirite?
1. Carbon Dioxide is a PRODUCT of temperature change, not a cause. CO2 is a trace gas making up 0.03% of the atmosphere.
2. The warmer it gets, the more polar bears there are.
3. The temperature on earth is primarily dictated by the sun. We are currently entering a cooling period.
4. C02, the main concern in this debate, is a primary fuel for life. The more C02, the more plants that can grow and thrive.

The risk far outweighs any other factor.

1. Drive less; carpool, ride your bike or use commuter.
2. Lower the thermostat two degrees when it's winter, and raise two degrees in summer.
3. Replace old light bulbs at home with energy-saving fluorescent bulbs.
4. Install only energy-efficient appliance.
5. Carry a re-usable bag with you when you shop groceries.
6. Sign up to use renewable energy for your electricity needs.
7. Reduce, reuse and recycle.
8. Unplug unused appliances and electronic devices. close lights when not needed.

Sorry, so wrong. I use commuter.
Sure I pollute, just like we all do, I am not a hypocrite.
But I try to act better:
I close lights and appliances when I don't need them, not only at home, but at the office too.
I sort my waste to the extent of the possibilities provided to me by the housing.
Oh, and I preach on to others what can be done. =)
