I was thinking about buying this at my local gamestore, they are only selling it for $5.95. It is however a bad copy (serial is TT00401A-L0 03 01). Should I buy it? Are the glitches in the bad copies all that much of a problem? Great video, btw. If anyone could answer I'd really appreciate it.

@Oveneise No. Try and find a non defective copy. Go to croteams site and visit the serious sam console boards/forum. I bought mine on ebay then a day after paying found out about the defective discs. Luckily mine is a good copy. Do not settle for the defective copy. It will not work and just be a real pain. I believe from what I read good copies end in 05. That gamestop should just throw that bad copy away instead of trying to pawn it on someone else. There should have been a recall actually.

Original XBox. Whenever possible, I always play on the system the games were designed for. I hate emulation and such (especially the 360's terrible attempt at it).

Resolution changes, choppiness, glitches, parts of the games not working (they support it because it's "good enough"), and in some cases it's better. Either way, it's not authentic. I only play games the way they're meant to be played, on the system they're designed for.

The models, especially weapon models look much better than the pc version. Shotgun looks fantastic! As well other weapons.

i still like the pc version more.. idk it's just the user HUD

but other than that it looks better too... there's less particle effects than pc but more gore and explosions

I like the arcade, cartoony feel of this one. The PC had a scoring system but it was kind of a background element, I also like the points that appear every time you kill an enemy.
