If you freeze the frame at 1:45 you can clearly see that Moes hands and eye poke is no where nears Larry's eyes . Moe must of been very careful about this in these shorts.
By far my favorite Shemp stooge short! I think it's one of the most original they did at this point in their career. This is about the time they started remaking older shorts. Just proves that they were still capable of comedy gold.
@toddles822 No. That little girl was played by Royce Milne. Larry's daughter's name was Phyllis Fine. You can see her in the short, Pop Goes the Easel. She and Moe's Daughter, Joan Howard, played the two hopscotch girls
@toddles822 Phyllis would have been grown at this point. Only reason I say that is that she was in "Pop goes the Easel" in 1935, and she was probably between 8-10 years old at the time.
