cool, my controller wouldn't turn on so i opened it up disconnected the battery and reconnected it and charged and started working again, been almost 6months since then. :-)
@soniqLCD Yea, I dont know whatsup with these controllers, when theyre dead theyre just a pain in the butt to get working. My black one did this too for a second but actually started charging.
@briandyee I used to let my controllers go totally flat before recharging, i read that aint good for the battery, its recommended and i do put it on charge after each gaming session
@soniqLCD Yea, its the same with phones/iPods, etc. Rechargable batteries are "meant" to be drained and recharged, but only to a certain extent. I always keep my iPhone topped off along with my controllers and whatnot. My iPhone lasts WAY longer than my buddys' (He lets his pretty much shut off dead before charging it).

To make your controller charge you need the mini usb charger that came with the ps3 itself. Plug it in give it 10 seconds and it should charge.
