Casy is a OSL champion. He does not play this badly.

ral_ra's econ's better... and the biggest problem for terran is that he's too passive. seems like he's always defending and losing grounds. when the carrier comes, he had 2 options, 1 is to get wraith, and 2 is to gather up all his units and attack, force carrier to join the battle... ghost takes too long.... but yah nal_ra is just too good at the game and out played him, no question about it.

thats just impossible to beat. Nal_ra controled his carriers so well that even with all those goliaths it was no match. Plus icasy was onlu massing goliaths, the goons that nal_ra had would have been enough to match the goliaths. Nal_ra just had a much greater amount of resources to make a larger and much stronger force

Terran is not supposed to give protoss player so much time that he can max up with half carrier half goons there is NOTHING short of gosu lockdown can stop that against a pro.

I think cloaked wraiths would have hepled a lot.

By the time Casy saw the 1st carrier, he should have

started building more starport and wraith production.

Wraiths combined with the goliaths and EMP could have

worked better. Honestly though, Nal_ra probably would

have found a way around the wraiths. hehe. He's a

genious.

Hmm its a tough one, I think Nal_rA just outplayed him, by the time he had a fair number of Carriers I think Casy was too far behind on resources and the means to get more of them, it was too hard for him to secure another expo and easy for Nal_rA to not let him. I'd say Sci-Ves EMP the Carriers and insane Goliath micro was his best option but its almost not possible and Nal_rA playwed too solid, the better player won.

What do you guys think Casey should have done against those carriers? Goliaths made sense since he already had so many factories, but the carriers out manouvered them easily by using the terrain on this particular map. I think ghost lockdown and wraiths would have worked best, but Casey just didn't have the build for it. I noticed that the science facility didn't have an add-on, so maybe he could have tried ghost/goliaths but just didn't have the time/resources to make it happen. Thoughts?
