Love this Saga. Master Roshi's training is similar to Karate Kid, This is the first fight to be more than 1 episode and this fight is kinda like the fight in Rocky II, between Rocky Balboa and Apollo Creed.

Oh, please, that Sleepy Boy move was cheap, and if Goku had trained longer before entering the tournament, and had gotten his power level at at least 300-330, he would have broken out of that electric move sooner, even without going Great Ape. Goku should have won. He would have kept training even if he had won the tournament, the Saiyan blood in him would have guaranteed that. And that last maneuver with Goku having shorter legs was cheap as well.

@ryuhyabusa1000 Obviously he could of won, but Roshi was stronger, he manged to take on Goku's Ape form and use all his ki to destroy the moon. Sure Goku was weakened after being an ape but which do you think drained more energy? Goku becoming an ape or Roshi super sizing himself and blowing up a freaking moon.
