  • You forgot about quantize. That's very important in style creator.

  • @debil323 Important, yes...necessary, I don't think so. Personal opinion though.

  • FYI: I run a 32 GB USB Flashdrive on my 910. So, I have acres of space for styles, mp3 songs, sample midi, and styles created with One Man Band from Midi all in one place. I also have a table next to the 910 to put a pot of hot coffee, snack crackers, and a bottle of jack as survivor food. Since once you start with this stuff, you don't come up for air too quick or often.

  • OK... If you open style creator with a certain style highlighted, SC imports it. I, fortunately, went the safe route, and put a flash drive in the USB port and created a work space on it to copy those styles I want to modify or use as a base. Then, you sinply save the file when done and it goes back to the original file.

  • I just picked up "one man band" to convert midi to style. Andre, I'll give your idea a shot and see where it leads me. Everyone's invited to my premire....whenever that will be. LOL

  • @swoganrich Sounds good! :D

  • Cool Beans! I needed this for a start. THANK YOU! How do you tie to One touch buttons to the style and have them change. I've got a few styles w/o any one touch for the right hand and I'd like to add to them. Also (sorry for all the questions) can you edit a style and save it back to the original file or are you always making new. Thanks so much for your time and effort!

  • @swoganrich I'm not sure about editing OTS settings, but make sure you have the OTS link enabled by pressing the button on the keyboard. Two - just save the style with the original name, and I think that would work. Let me know if that works for you!

  • Thank u so much for ur Tutorial..

  • @iceharsha No problem!

  • can you please tell me when you record one channel how to move to the next channel to record?

    thank you

  • @isuru7777 Hold down "record" (F) and the down arrow under the channel you want to record. That should work!

  • great work! very helpful

  • How to copy everything from the variation of A to variations in B? I mean the drums, bass, etc. Please reply.

  • @AlekGraba As of now, I do not know how to do that. I've always just played the parts over and over.

    Sorry!

  • @AlekGraba Just go to menu 2 assembly (when you are on main B) select drum parts and in the bottom of the screen you see that you selected drum part of main B set that one to Main A when you are still on main b

  • my bad, i didn't mean to come on to you like that.. i just thought it would sounded more better in a even tempo.. like your work..

  • @iiSLaNdcRew No worries, man! It's just my style - things sound different to everyone! I definitely encourage you to follow your own musical paths. Keep on playing, that's all that matters!

    Thanks for the comment,

    -AndrecJC

  • you forgot to quantize your instruments..

  • @iiSLaNdcRew I don't regard that as a critical step of the style creating process. I think the small nuances that quantitative gets rid of make music all the more natural. But thanks for the idea!

  • hi Andrec i cant create filling by puting cymbal at the end cuz everytime i hit the filling pad i dont hear the cymbal or it goes backward. is there any way to do it?

  • @oeang00 Just make sure to sync it with the metronome...check the user manual for more detailed instructions! I'm not too experienced with styles.

    Good luck,

    -AndrecJC

  • thanks you verymuch Andrec now i can change recording channel.

  • hi i cant change the channel for drun to bass it stuck on drum channel is there any way to change the channel?

  • @oeang00 Hold down the F button and whichever arrow that is below the part you want to change it to. That should do it!

  • So there is not much difference between multi track recording and style creator is there ? The functions are about the same. Except Style loops.

  • @Suomi5 Right. Also, Styles automatically fit the key you are playing in.

  • thanks, take your time.

  • would you please show us how to create STYLES which contain the INTRODUCTION , FILL IN, and the END part.....THANKS.

  • @chaojet35 For now, check the user manual - it might be a while before I can get a video up. But I'll try! Thanks for the request.

  • hey! im wondering what to buy, psr 710 or 910, im a newby, so can u please help me out.I'm basically going to use the keyboard to make playbacks! thanks.

  • @hagop82 If you have the money, I'd go with the S910. Or even the S900, which has dropped in price. If you are on a budget, go with the S710. They are all great keyboards - you can't really go wrong. If you want anything specific in the keyboard, I can change my advice here.

    Good luck,

    -AndrecJC

  • thnks bro, i can do it now..thnks so much!!

  • @fred8729 To record any channel, hold down the Record Button (F) and the down arrow of the channel you want to record.

    Hope that helps,

    -AndrecJC

  • ok thank you

  • You can save the styles, and play with it?

Can we also make several styles?

    how many can you save?

    Thank you

  • @TheCHAEDU

Yes, yes, and as many as the keyboard will hold. You can move them to a USB stick if the keyboard memory space gets full.

  • Your editing skill is amazing.

    thank you AndrecJC. ^^

  • @retona37 Thanks! Hope it helped you out.

  • Wow! Thanks to you for the tutorial. Because of you I like my S900 even more.

  • @qvnguyen Yes, the PSR S900 is full of useful tools! It takes a while to discover them all.
