Since making my first comment on this particular piece, I have also come to be quite amazed as the huge number of other pieces on YT that feature vocals by Leo Monosson. He seems to have been one of the busiest and most widely used vocalists of the period, appearing with a wide range of orchestras. I never heard of him until I got involved with YT but I cannot help but think that he had to be extremely well known -- and highly regarded -- all over Europe during this era.
