  • Awww haha i like Muffy!!!!! <333

  • I could never let my bunnies loose by the road like that :O

  • @coolsvids

I trained them on leash by the road until they stayed on the course reliably. I gradually gave them more freedom as long as they stayed on the grass. They stopped running off and were even able to stay on the course unleashed at busy places like our annual easter egg hunt with hundreds of children running around. I wouldn't have thought they could do it until I trained them to.

  • We love this video of the bunnies that overcame hardship. We are big fans at Bunny Buddies of Houston, TX.

  • @knowborders

Aren't rescued bunnies the best? Do you do any clicker training with your rabbits in TX?

  • 42 people failed the bunny course.

  • This is so quite

  • MUFFY is the best :D

  • @poopersooper123

Perfect! You can build a very low (3") hurdle and when they cross it click, then give them a tiny bite of banana.

  • Muffy seems to take the easy way through life xD

  • awsum. did you have to practice with a harness first? i want to try this with my rabbits but not sure about the harness.

  • @lormorg

I start training off leash in a fenced area and then move to training on a harness and leash.

  • Maddie is so cute. I have a jersey wooly rabbit that I am trying to teach to jump, but he just won't go. Any advice?

  • HOW DID U DO THT! how do u train thwm for that and what breed is best?

  • @Bezzauvsdabunnies

The best hopping rabbits are usually the most active rabbits. I find my best ones at my local animal shelter. Ask to see the rabbits that escape the most and get into the most trouble.

  • @fuzzfarm are rabbits more playful than cats? more likely to be lap animals too?

  • @3333sweetie it depends on the rabbit on both of those questions

  • They look fat and tasty mmm

  • :) :) I have my own little bun named frosty. she is a white + black mini rex and I really wish i could clicker train her. But could you help me with one thing? she HATES wearing a leash/harness. I got it on her once, and she immediately started sprinting around the room FRANTIC to get it off..

  • @iLikeToDraw160

Try puttng just the harness on her in a confined area like her pen or cage and immediately feed her some delicious food to take her mind off of the harness. When the food is done take the harness off. Try this several times before you even begin to attach the leash. I walk the rabbits in a familiar place that is enclose the first few times so they are as comfortable as possible. Take your time and go slowly.

  • ive tried to get my rabbit to jump, and he is good, but, he likes to run off the course!

  • what cute bunnies - and the music is perfect!

  • Oh I'm so sorry to hear about Muffy!!!! She was so funny and smart. My daughter and her boyfriend have worked at the BUNS shelter a coupe years but they didn't tell me Muffy died. This is probably my all time favorite Youtube video because it really shows how much personality and intelligence rabbits have. They also really bond with people. Long live Muffy's memory, immortalized on Youtube.

  • I trained one of my bunnies to go over jumps at first, but then she started going around them. To bad I don't have a clicker that would help lol!

  • Muffy reminds me of my late Ester. . . who I had for, oh, I don't know, 7 or more years. She died from complications of being diabetic (she'd got me spoiling her with too many sweets when she was young and I was a new rabbit owner). Out of all my pet rabbits (5 total so far) she was the most awesome!! Rabbits are great pets. This video makes me smile.

  • what the heck muffy?

  • It is so great to see other people who know rabbits are all about! I've been a rabbit owner for over 30 years and they have always been a part of the family. Rabbits are incredible giving them love and opportunity to learn and mature as individuals.

  • Great videos! I'm starting to train my rabbit, Leroy, to do some tricks and we'll definitely be attempting jumping soon!

  • lol to muffy. smart bunny. i have two rexs but i don't think they will do this

  • WOW! How did you get those rabbits to stay on course and not run into the street? I would be scared to death to try that with my bunnies.

  • @Living4Christ18

I trained them in a closed area first, then on leashes and finally off leash next to the road. They were very reliable about staying on the course.

  • yeah!!! music is back....VERY cool. Spread the word oh friendly YouTubers....this video is so great.

  • lol when he got the plank out xD

  • I recently adopted my first rabbit.... his name is theodore, i LOVE him. My rabbit doesnt seem to like jumping over the obstacles i made for him, do you use treats to train your rabbits?

  • yes

  • My rabbit's called Theodore! What kind of rabbit is he? That can make the difference to a hyper bunny and a quiet and tired bunny.

  • Muffy was the best because he/she can improvise to suit their style. XD

  • DAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!

  • Love the rabbit who cheated! I laughed so hard I almost fell off of my chair!

  • Great.. Do they never run to the street? Across the road?

  • I started training them in an enclosed area and then got them used to wearing a harness and leash. After several months of training on the leash I started letting them train off leash and they stayed on the course.

  • wow adorable! Great work with those guys love it when he takes the jump down and jumps through it! :D

  • Mattie's awesome, after doing the course twice, she's like "yeah, I'm goin' inside now, see ya."

  • muffy has skill!!!

  • This video is wonderful, I love the part at the end, PLEASE support shelter rabbits!

  • Mattie was very good!!!

  • Soooo cute and its great they're all adopted. It was so funny when Muffy took out the bar to jump through I laughed soo hard

  • hahahaha!!
